Well I guess what N55 guys need is being able to go to 6.5k rpm instead of having to shift at 5.8k. I would be looking for an upgrade that does above and gives me 50-70 hp over jb4 map2 on 93 octane.
And all this on an F series car |

Why exactly wouldn't the Cobb AP work for this mod? Get a protune on a dyno and go. I don't see the problem.

I am guessing VTT threatened to pull their business if PFT aired "dirty laundry" like the wrong threading on the reverse rotation shaft. Pure speculation on my part.

As far as I know "someone" stated that the reverse rotation shaft @ the N55 Stage 2 Turbos from Vargas aren't made properly so they - may or may not - be likely to fail.
Pure Turbos: Really excited for your turbo. Any updates? |

We recorded some datalogs on our customer's Stage 1 car, and they have been sent to Terry today. So tuning, then dyno... We just bought a '11 335i N55 shop car. So we will provide more results once our Stage 1 turbo is also installed and tested on our shop car. |

FWIW: Our customer with the Stage 1 turbo said:
"The car has so much !@#$ing balls on the top end even on map two. Raced my buddies 09 GTR with intake and exhaust and walked him. Used to barely keep up with him." This is no result or data of any kind, but it got us excited when we heard it. It sounds positive so far... |
