I've had an 04 Accord coupe and for the money, I thought it was the worth it since it had a bit of everything. it was very reliable and cheap to maintain...Honda's selling points.

Honda's cost per mile is a lot better over the long run. If you plan on keeping a car for a long time, the Accord would be the better choice. Once you see the price for the 60000 mile Inspection for a 5 series or 7 series, you're gonna wanna trade it in and get that Accord.

Truth be told i'm a full blown mechanic..i do engine swaps, tranny rebuilds etc in my driveway and i would not hesitate to buy a high mileage Honda in a heartbeat..I took a greyhound bus for 8 hrs to Virginia and picked up a 95 civic coupe with 165k that i saw on craigslist and drove it home without even thinking twice and beat the shit out of it for another 15k w/o a problem..i have done it numerous times before with other Hondas..Would i do the same with an old ass Bmw with the same miles..Hell no...still love my E90 tho...

But imo they handle pretty well and comon 15K for a new civic w/ good mileage...Back to reliability you just can't beat honda and toyota. I still see old school accord/civics/camry/corolla boxes out on the road from the 80's...that's impressive....The only other german cars that were that dependable were the mercedes from the late 70's/early 80's
u see thats why i own both types of cars..I drive a jap car daily and keep the kraut car for the weekend..but i will say however i wouldnt buy a jap car over 40 grand..I'd def go european..the only jap car i'd buy over 40 grand is an NSX or Supra..otherwise it's German all the way..

In all honesty I'm done w/ expensive cars for a long time...personally they're just not worth the money to me anymore. I've been driving this boxster s and it's a great car but I realized it's foolish for me to spend more than 20 grand on a car especially when there are companies that make solid/reliable cars. Plus w/ the gas prices, I'm no longer in a hurry to burn gas so a 4 cylinder will have to be enough...I'm going to stick this boxster out for a few months and later on just turn it back in and buy either an i4 civic or i4 accord...anyways sorry for the long rant

Cars are my passion, just wish they were less expensive!!! Cause I'd rather invest the extra money in real estate instead of a 60K car.

You're definitely on the money by saying you'd rather invest the money in real estate instead of a car..Thats what i have been doing for the last year or so but unfortunately i am addicted to cars/motorcycles so it looks like i'm gonna continue with my stupidiness...

An ongoing trend with a lot of car makers nowaday. I was driving side by side with an old 5 series on the highway and noticed how bigger my 3'er is, lol.

I'll swap my S2K + cash for your Boxster. BTW, the S2K is also bulletproof (and the clutch is light).

I think the accord looks nice in pix. I saw one on the road abhout 2 weeks ago and didnt like it that much (perhaps it was just the angle cus he was turning right onto the road I was on). WIth that being said Im gonna go check it out. It looks promising.
