I havent used it but in video you see nothing is covered so i guess it should not stain anything.just wipe dasH, seats etc after the use.

i had some squash cs x-3 for a good year and a half. when that ran out i tried a few others but none could compare, so im going back. although i tape off most of the vents on the cs-x3 otherwise it's too powerful.

Obviously, don't allow smoking in the car. I only buy used BMWs and can tell within 30 seconds if it was a smoker's car. (And, no, to people like me, all the cleaning and chemicals in the world won't correct the problem).
Ironically, smokers can't tell because most of their sense of smell and taste is diminished while they continue to smoke. My late father completely lost his sense of smell after 20 years of smoking. According to his MD, it's not that uncommon. |

![]() I use einzette for plastics, it doesn't leave odor and cleans my interior without the shine that some products cause. I just tried mothers leather cleaner and conditioner today and it seems to do the job well, doesn't leave any odors and my seats are clean and soft. My seats weren't very dirty so not sure how well it cleans, the driver's seat was the only thing that made my towel dirty.

anybody know how to maintain that original leather smell. I love that fresh leather smell. I bought some Maguiers leather conditioner...I hope it has the same smell.

People often tells me my car still has the "new car smell" but I am the only one who knows exactly how my car smelled when new and is not the same.

I clean my car often, about once a week. When I clean it I just use the bmw all purpose interior cleaner and vacuum everything, and every couple months I use zaino leather cleaner and conditioner (z9 and z10).
No food in the car and when I leave the car at my house I always try to crack the windows for a few hours if I know it's not going to rain to give it some fresh air inside. I play tennis and get really sweaty so I like to air it out as often as I can. I have a 2007 and many people comment on how it smells brand new ![]() |

In my opinion, maintaining the smell to a level where you can open the door and smell it is not going to happen. That's just the way it is - a new car smells like such because it is still fresh from all the glue, stuff they use to fill the seats, etc, etc. That smell just airs out. However, what will get you the closest I have seen is Sonax aircon treatment. I know it sounds weird, you want something like a scent and here I am telling you to disinfect your A/C... well, personally, I think that may be one of the problems of a car smelling "different" from new. Look, I'm only speaking from experience, and don't know why, but my car is 4 years old, and if I leave it parked in the garage for a month or so, and then I open the door, it smells like a new car right off the line (at least it did before I applied Wurth Quickfresh Silver, now it smells lightly of apple, smell still going strong after 1 month in 25C degrees outside). However, as soon as I get in the car and drive it to wherever, the smell just airs out and it smells of nothing. So, save your time with all this smell stuff IMO, if you just want it to smell "normal" disinfect the aircon with the Sonax disinfectant (you let it off in the car with A/C on) like 2x a year... it only costs $10 per can... |

"New car smell" is different than new leather smell. Believe me. I've smelled my friends new Honda and it smells like plastic chemicals. The new M3 with Navillo leather smelled like fresh leather. The CeliJet leather protectant my detailer used also has the same smell to it.

I don't know that it can be bought separately. I believe they have a website.
I get my car detailed by the guy the company had me fulfill my warranty through. He says he gets all these samples from them, so he did my whole car with the extra samples. Unfortunately the only other way I know to get this done is to pay the dealership or shop that they offer the product through at their nasty retail price. Maybe you could find somebody like my guy that will do it cheap like me. The other thing is, I really don't know what's in their product, I just figured BMW dealer had good stuff. When I got my new car back I *thought* the leather had a more orange tint to it and was a little more slick than soft. But honestly, I can't tell.
