Try this with multimeter.

Pin #1 of your headlight to positive connector of angel eye
Pin #2 or #4 is earth to the other connector of angel eye

Can you check if you get -ve results (no break in the wires)?
Hey makkan, don't want to sound thick, but what exactly do I need to do with this? Do u want me to plug the multimeter to the said pins to check for voltage?

It's a check between the rear of the headlamp and the plug for the angel eye to check the internal headlamp wiring is ok.

Hi I've just checked the connection at the back of the headlight using the continuation function on the multimeter and there is no beep, but the passenger side is fine (as it should be)

You got the answer. It not FRM then. Its the headlight.

Hi guys,

Ok I took the car to a garage that I know and they carried out a test which points to the FRM. So I will be getting a second hand one as BMW apprently sell for £250 plus VAT!!!!Is it hard to access the FRM and how do I know which one would suit mine?

Thanks
