Fact = OEM Aero lip is much tougher than a fiberglass piece.
Fact = Even PUR/Poly/etc. can not withstand everything.

I never said OEM won't have this effect, it is just less fragile than fiberglass. It is my opinion that the OEM Aero lip and most OEM pieces are much stronger than fiberglass. It's the nature of the material, not necessarily the manufacturer.

As to your product, I do know someone personally that has complained about how fragile it was. I didn't want to mention this but since uhaulball brought it up, I'm answering the question.

OEM Poly > Fiberglass
The above statement is an opinion.

well that and i have seen the kit in person at bimmerfest ... i have my own opinions on the kit from what i saw

but i think i was intrigued by the oem argument ... i agree that no matter what, if you drive like shiet, you will mess up the car ... if you slam your car to floor, prepare to pay the consequences of scrapping

well to get into the detailed reason, i say actual customers because ones who are not an actual customer, already have established they are either weary of the material or do not like the design. so right off the bat they are either indifferent to the kit or on the negative spectrum of the scale. also, people may have other factors into not getting the kit, lets say sponsored cars, for example a sponsored car from another cosmetic company will be obligated to wearing either that company's kit or an OEM kit with that company's trimmings. so they will also be more inclined to be in disagreement with the e92kit. when the reviewer is an actual customer, then its been determined that theyve initially already shown genuine interest in the product, and now they can decide on how satisfied they were with the final results.

i would disagree on the point that style is one aspect and material is another. but i agree that everyone is biased, because you would buy the kit only if you liked it. then it would seem that no one would have an unbiased opinion about the kit.

So someone that has the actual piece telling me that he likes it a lot but it's as fragile as <insert word here> doesn't mean anything? I'm not sponsored by any company. I have no vested interested in this at all. I'm quite impartial.

For the record, I told someone that their e92kits front bumper looked good.

this is ture, however there are both positive reviews (such are yours) and negative reviews from actual buyers. So the issues are still being validated even by current owners.

Stop dancing around the subject.

Fiberglass breaks easier.

If you are parking and accidently scrape the parking block, the OEM aero lip will most likely not crack (I know this from experience). If you do the same with fiberglass, the chance is much higher (I know this from experience). 30 mph is much different than 5 mph or under. I assume you won't be going 30mph while parking.

Cliffnotes: Everything breaks, that is obvious. Fiberglass breaks more easily.
