Guys, you can order it on the website right now. You don't need the 15 to get on it. The price is an "intro" price, not a group buy.

Call them if you like, very nice and accomodating peeps.

Uhm... their website quotes Intro price as $1352.00 but the 1st post on this thread says "The introductory price is now set at $1199!!"

Someone explain this to me plz?

I'm really, really sorry that I've been away guys. I've been helping with the guys on the floor with production since we're absolutely swamped now that we've returned from SEMA. But, enough excuses, let me see if I can answer some questions

I should clarify that I was misinformed about the group buy. We do not require 15 people in order to honor the group buy price regardless of how many orders have been placed. In other words, you may order these systems today and get that $1199 introductory price. I'm sorry for the confusion with the "minimum of 15 orders" deal, that was my mistake! We have 15 systems on the floor at the moment, and if you're not one of the first 15 to place an order then you'll have to wait for the next production run.

We actually have someone coming by on Wednesday afternoon to test fit our exhaust on an '08 sedan, and if you guys have any specific requests as far as photos go I'd be happy to snap a couple shots while the car is here. A couple people asked for shots from the rear with the car on the ground, and I'll do my best to grab a couple like that. But if you guys would like to see some different angles, let me know, make a list!

So how do you place an order and get the $1199 price? You need to give us a call here at the shop to place your order. We are not advertising the $1199 price because that deal is exclusive to E90Post members. So call us at 301-576-6142 and we'll take down your order info by phone.

If there any other points that you think need clarification, please do post up your concern!

Sure thing!

I'm sure there is a weight savings with our exhaust, but I don't have a number to quote. In fact, I don't think that we even have a scale here that we can use to weigh it!

I don't know if you've ever felt the weight of the stock catback, but I'd say that our system is about two-thirds of the weight. The stock rear mufflers are incredibly heavy. Maybe one of our customers will be kind enough to weight their cp-e catback when they get it if they have a scale available? If this becomes a real concern for people then we'll work something out and get some numbers for you guys.

The honest answer is that we don't know, and we won't know until someone brings a 335xi by our shop to test fit it. We know that our kit fits the coupe and sedan, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if the catback also fit the 335xi. Let me see what I can do as far as a stock versus cp-e exhaust clip. Part of the problem is that we don't have a 335i of our own, so one of our customers would have to help us in that regard. However, pictures I can surely do, and I'll be sure to grab some rear shots to show you how low everything hangs and such.

I just measured the tips and they're 3-1/4" from edge to edge. As far as shipping times, we're going to start trickling these out the door starting tomorrow. So assuming that you get an example from the first batch, your order will be processed and shipped in about a day or two.

Just to explain our choice in only producing 15 units to start, we really had a hard time gaging the response to our catback. So, we thought it'd be smart to start with low quantities and then increase production if the demand was there. So if we do start moving these kits in volume then we'll begin stocking these so people don't have to wait between production runs. But for now, we have 15 units available to be shipped in the next few days.

So just to be clear, people have requested pictures of:

- A rear-side shot which shows how far the tips stick out of the bumper.

- A rear shot with the car on the ground.

- More shots of the tips and how low the mufflers hang.

If you guys think of any others let me know and I'll add it to the list above. That way when the 335i gets here I can just reference this post.
