Yeah, but that was on race gas. I will top that out shortly, just watch.

True. I am definately shifting my comments now. I completely miss the "no tune" part. Things makes a little more sense now:

No tune
Car was running at almost stock boost
one extra passenger

I start to think that it would be a different race with the Evop 9 being tuned, one person in the car and a little more boost.

Without a tune, those mods on the Evo are pretty much useless

No tune on that evo = pig rich.

There are alot of tunes for the evo these days.

Whats that ecu cable links thing, you can do it yourself. And its like $85. for the cable.

And if it was a manuel boost controller , he would be at 21psi to redline.

I ran 22psi on mine all day long, with a $200 mail in flash. And it put the smackdown often. I miss that nothing, nothing,WHAMMMMMMM feeling.

And Carlos is a good guy, Guys.

Yeah, that's why I was more surprised that the 335i put such a hurting on the Evo 9. My best friend had one that I'd driven many times before, and with his MBC, Intake, exhaust, alcohol injection, and tune (he had that cord thingy) he was putting down around 350awhp if memory serves me correctly. That thing was violent... and very quick. I never was a big enough Evo fan to want one myself, but you had to respect the power and the ease of which it could be modded.

It's nice to see that with a few simple mods, the 335i can be as fast or faster than a modded Evo, all while maintaining the sport-luxury feel and look of a BMW.

OMG that is funny! Stock porsches are slow?

That race was not exactly leaving the carrera too far behind. And what is "slow" anyways? I tell you what, take that modded 335 to road course against the carrera S and then see which car is slow.

There is a lot more to a fast car then straight line acceleration.

that is correct it is 17-18 maybe 19psi no where close to 20psi

but also worthless running all the mods that he has with no tune richy richy rich

he should get his car tuned and then you should guy do runs from a roll

40 60 80 -120mph runs that would be more interesting and compare dyno graphs with each other if you have

We always do runs everytime he adds something new, and we will be doing runs after he tunes.

I'll post some videos after we do
