I have my head in my hands reading this thread.

The potential consequences of some of the actions mentioned truly are life/death.

And for what? To get "one-over" on another driver, dick-head or otherwise!

Pathetic.

I just don't understand why so many people see driving as a competition.

I don't hang around when I drive but if someone wants to drive faster than me (whatever he drives) the best place for him is in front of me as far away as possible.

Far from trying impress a lame idiot like you I was just emphasing (big word there, do you know what that means?) how some small brained idiots on the road can create dangerous situations that I am actually thankful I can get myself out of quite easily. Tailgating is an offence, if the Police would seen both situations both the other drivers would have been in trouble.

Of course I know what the word emphasise means you fuckwit. I'm not the one out getting my kicks from 'racing' people in cheap cars and then proudly telling people on the internet about such feats of manly prowess.

Also, I'm fairly sure speeding/racing is a much bigger offence than tailgating. And also not the laws recommendation, if you're going to stick by the law here, I advise you to abide by it fully, not pick and choose much like your wife does amongst your 'friends'.

So, to sum up, you're a bellend, stop trying to show off.

I think you'll find that most Police would arrest the BMW speeding over a Peugeot boy racer, all day long.

I'm not sure that the best way to humiliate a knob is to out-knob him.
Better to let him past and laugh at his car as it squeals past you.
He knows you're in a nicer car than him anyway.

Can't work out why the OP's wife is being brought into all this, but unnecessary IMO, along with all the other name calling, think everyone needs to grow up a bit

Totally agree
Reading through most of this you would think its chavs chat tbh all a bit childish.
Just because you drive a BMW does not make you a better person because the 'chavs' drive a worse car, you are obviously in a better position than them by driving your BMW, you dont know there situation, who's to say he werent on his way to see his nan in hospital etc and your trying to hold him up.
We have all been there amd had to rush to get places.

Christ did you even read my post to you ?. So there you go again, making assumptions with your tiny mind, jeez you are dumb. 1 that I was speeding and 2 that I am married. But you insist on trying to abuse me and also antagonise (another big word, look it up on Google) me by insulting my 'assumed' wife. So indeed, it's you that are the 'fuckwit that needs to grow up.

I suspect a lot of 'high horse' bullshit on this thread, half the cars on this forum are 'tuned' up to within an inch of their lives...i for one don't have a mapped 335d for the extra mpg! Everyone has a tear around now and then, under circumstances 'they' deem to be 'safe'. Cut the OP some slack, its getting like pistonheads around here, personal insults and name calling is just pathetic, and is telling of how cheap e9x are nowadays and the kind target market they attract.

I agree, thank you, however it amazes me that most won't even appreciate that we are at this point due to their initial comments. Yes, it's childish to start name calling, but that's all some seem to understand, it's their level.

As for e9x's being cheap, well cheap is relative to what you earn is it not. And as for the target market they attract, I don't believe it's the ex Nova boy racer type but then again, maybe this forum is proving me wrong.

Sometimes humour's a good way to cool down a thread like this

I registered here a month or so back as I'm thinking of buying an e90 and just wanted to 'silent lurk' and observe for a bit.

Been very educational - and entertaining!

Ahhhh.... popcorn's arrived

Carry on!
