VANOS recall letter...anyone get these?

Got my letter a few days ago and also says no parts available yet. I'm a 6/10 build.
Quick question:
Anyone out there that's tuned+FBO and going to get this done? Are you returning to stock to get this service done? I'm so close to my warranty expiring I don't want to remove my parts. Can they refuse to do the recall if I'm tuned+FBO?

no they can't refuse it since it affects the car no matter what. I'm only removing the jb4 since I don't know what they have to take off and I feel like they might mess up my jb4. Everything else is staying on

I got my letter last weekend. Called dealer on Monday, they checked my vin# on recall database and found NO recall for my car????? My production date is 04/2010. Any suggestions?

You got the letter so you are covered. It probably wont show up in their system until they get all of the parts and start scheduling the recall work.
Still a waiting game but don't worry.

You'll get a letter if you're affected Wing- hang in there. You can check the black plate inside your door frame for your month and year of build.

got mine, dealer ran my vin and apparently you have to get the second letter saying the part is there in order to bring it it.....wtf

Not at all. Same performance as before the repair was done
