I've been wearing mine everyday too. Isn't it a scratch magnet??? I think it gets scratched when I just look at it! I love it though and can't take it off!

Picked up a new DateJust. Absolutely in love with the watch!
Went for the classic 36mm as it just sits on my wrist better. So happy with my two tone oyster bracelet. Adds a touch of sportiness compared to the Jubilee |

Decided to wear my Submariner today. I haven't worn it in a while because I like switching watches. I was wearing my Tissot Quicksilver in black, with rubber band.

Two of my recent acquisitions. GMT Master II "Batman" and Grand Seiko Hi-Beat GMT. They are both very nice. Same complication but yet quite different. I wear the Grand Seiko mostly in weekdays as a dress watch and Batman in weekends. |

Remaining question is whether I should go with the Deployant or Tang Buckle. I am thinking about Tang Buckle so I don't overtax the clasp if or when I go back to the bracelet at some point. Thoughts?

I love my BLNR. I recently picked up a Sub 14060M for daily wear (I have to get pics up soon). They're a "bargain" compared to many of the other sport Rolex watches. Nice watches without paperwork can be had in the mid $4k range. With the 3130 movement, it's pretty solid and will last for years. I'm going to install an LV insert from the 50th Anniversary Sub. It'll give the watch an entirely different look. The face is super clean too without the date window.

I added a 14060M Sub for daily wear.
I think this is a perfect combination. 14060M Sub BLNR Batman 6263 Panda

I like that someone chose the 36mm Datejust over the new flashier, and oversized Datejust. I feel a Datejust 36mm with oyster bracelet is the perfect every occasion piece. I love mine, and find myself wearing it more than my black Submariner.

I been debating getting a new watch. Debating between a 41mm Datejust with the diamonds on the dial... and a matching 36mm for the wife... or do I go with a 40mm steel and gold Daytona with a white dial.
Edit: went to try on the watches... the Daytona feels like it’s too small, a lot less sporty than my navitimer. Likely go with the Datejust steel and gold and blackface with diamonds in dial. I’m not 100% sold yet. Wife i think is settling on a 31mm date just with diamond bezel jubilee bracelet and diamond face with jubilee face. Then give my wife’s 26mm lady Datejust with diamonds to daughter. Last edited by Bt12; 01-29-2018 at 05:32 AM.. |

I know the GMT isn't a diver... but it did wonderfully down 40-50 feet during a SNUBA trip in Maui. I have a few watches to pick from, but the GMT is the one I ALWAYS travel with! So versatile
- BUT... now that I'm studying law in London for a semester, the GMT function is actually incredibly useful, both just seeing two time-zones and then being able to use the rotating bezel to instantaneously switching between LA and NY time as the 24-hour green hour hand!

I just traded my BLNR for a 1973 GMT Pepsi 1675 with a very nice case (bevels are still present).
Many of the old watches have been polished so much that they actually lose the case lines. The bevels are completely gone. This watch has strong bevels and a nice light patina on the dial and hands. The bezel is faded to a soft red and blue. I'm trying to get in on the upswing. I basically got almost what I paid for my BLNR on the trade. Once the market corrects, the BLNR should go down, but the 1675 should stay or go up slightly. Very pleased with another classic watch in the fold.
