I was pulling for Dem Boys as I didn’t want the Eagles to run away in the Division but they’re clearly the team to beat at the moment in the NFC. Who can go into Philly and beat them in the playoffs? I don’t trust the Bucs nor the Rams. Vikings are one of the greatest teams in the league as long as they don’t play TNF/SNF/MNF. Dallas should get some mojo back w/Dak back, Giants would have to play perfect ball to stay with Philly and the Pack, yeah no.
And should Zappe take over the starting QB in NE? I think Bill will continue with the hot hand, thoughts? And for the Bills to go into KC for redemption gives them more confidence now moving forward. Lots of mediocre teams in the NFL with only a couple of powerhouses: Eagles/Bills Followed by contenders: Vikings/Bengals/KC/Cowboys (assuming how Dak plays/Defense) Followed by recent success: Colts/Titans/Pats And surprises: Giants/Jets - Matrix glitch Gonna get interesting here. |

Hurts with a 104 passer rating against the league's "best" defense, his 9th consecutive regular season win. If it weren't for Josh Allen, he'd be the clear MVP to this point.

I’m pretty sure the Eagles are the real deal. I figured they would grab the win against the Cowboys. Jalen is playing great, and that defensive secondary is no joke. Cooper had a great run, but it eventually had to come to and end. Hopefully The Boys can rebound with Dak coming back.

Cowboys held him to 180yds total. Not exactly lighting it up. Cowboys defense was solid though. If Rush wasnt turning the ball over with short fields all 2nd quarter, its a different story. Defense held up decently, only allowing 6pts the 2nd half after the offense stopped screwing them over every series, and losing by 9 with a backup QB who was missing wide open guys isnt exactly the statement win the Eagles wanted. Overall, not terribly upset by the loss. That 2nd quarter was rough, but holding a top rushing offense to 3.5ypc, holding Hurts to just 155yds passing, and the amount of WRs running wide open in the secondary gives me pretty good confidence for the Week 16 rematch with Dak back. As long as we get 2nd half Kellen Moore and not 1st half Moore.

more like Rush was overrated. This game just showed what everyone who actually watches football knew; Rush was a good backup, but he isnt someone you can rely on to go out and win you a game vs a top defense.
Now, if we want to talk about overrated, lets talk Packers and Rodgers.

Rush by turning the ball over, twice, and Eagles capitalizing, sealed our fate.
One thing that pissed me off was that near last drive by Eagles, running the ball up the gut and Dallas not adjusting. Parsons is obviously great at rushing and that's where he needs to be. But Vanderesch is not being utilized properly. Or we need a better Inside or Middle linebacker. I thought Dallas was going to come back when they got within 3. I must admit, Dak would have been a much better option against the Eagles. I look forward to Game 2 here... I and Dallas fans should definitely NOT panic. Still not at the half way mark yet. Dallas will definitely be in the mix. |

Was also not a fan of how they were defending the pass. The eagles thrive on those short slants, but our defense was playing off the WRs allowing them to have underneath stuff and allowing hurts to get the ball out quick negating the pass rush. and yeah, parsons needs to be rushing the passer more. He had just 5 pass rush attempts the 2nd half. Some of that was due to the option game, but we should be able to cover that without taking our best pass rusher out of the pass rushing game.

The Pats 3rd string QB is playing better than their starting QB. Be interesting to see what happens if MJ stays out for a few more weeks. Either way he is making himself very valuable.

Zappe: Two NFL starts, 2 wins, 41-of-55 for 497 yards, 73% completion with 4 touchdowns and a pick. That's good for 112.46 passer rating. MJs: 3 starts 1W 2Ls, 64-97 786 yrds, 66% completion %, 2 TDs 5 interceptions. That's good for 33.6 passer rating.

The Denver Broncos should be in the top 3 NFL Power Rankings. Despite close losses this season, this team, led by coach Nathaniel Hackett and QB Russell Wilson will end up in the playoffs and ultimately to the big show. There is no doubt in my m.....
Ah who am I kidding? Man does this team stink up the field. Can't believe how many prime time games they are in this season - great way to show the nation just how bad the play calling is, and how much RW is just phoning it in. |

Not if people paid attention to Rush's stats against the Rams.
10-16, 102 yds, no tds, 16.8 QBR If Dak can come back any play at 2019 level. Honestly they have a chance at getting to the super bowl as much as any other team in the league. This season is weird, besides Bills and Chiefs...no one stands out. Yes I left out Eagles they are massively overrated. Hurts is mid, sorry Eagles fans. He got cut from Bama for a reason. |

The key is to get Kellen to stop trying to get cute and not go with the old Garrett/Linehan style of thinking of "i can call mediocre plays because my guys should be able to out execute" and more of the new style of offense of "i can scheme guys open so its not so hard on my QB/OL/WRs to make a play". The way the defense is playing, the offense doesnt need to carry the team completely, but it needs to be effective.
