I'm no dealer, but many punters who are interesting in BMWs know what an AUC car is.

Is it just me that finds the "please please come round for tea and biscuits - I want names, names" slightly menacing? Sounds more like "come round for dark alley and baseball bats" to me.

Seems a rather pathetic attempt to try and imply many on here are dealers or are not real customers - but its failing as its patently obvious many are not dealers and have been to Big and had poor experiences.

I've never been to Big, but have seen enough on here to be convinced:

a) they alledgedly have a direct policy of advertising lots of high spec, low mileage cars at tempting prices that they don't own. The lot is probably full of poverty spec hard to shift nails that they try and flog to poor punters they have lured with the phantom cars. Sadly if their motoring awards are to be believed, this appears to work to some punters.

b) it seems they are alledgedly not adverse to swapping parts around to hide faults.


A visit could be interesting if you:

1. Note down all the cars on their website, and
2. See how many of those actually exist on their lot.

Whos betting the ratio would be 50% or less!!?!

Just so you can prepare the drinks, I'm quite partial to Aftershock Silver & Tony will happily drink any thoroughly expensive Cognac. The other forum members will drink anything on offer, as long as it's in date. Well, no, they'll actually drink it, even if it's out of date.
I think sausage rolls & pretzels will do for Will, but I think the rest of us will probably require something a little more substantial- perhaps a hog roast could be prepared over the course of the day & we can then just pick at it as & when we like?

I also need to check on the members' wives & girlfriends, especially concerning their drink requirements, as they tend to get far more carried away than we do on these occasions. Chloe, in particular loves some particular brand of Tesco Red wine I think, so I hope you can ensure this is available in sufficient quantities. I'll check on the actual name & get back in touch. If you collect their Clubcard points, you might be able to get it on some deal this week & keep in storage till Chloe arrives at the party.

We were wondering if you'd perhaps think about sponsoring the forum & maybe we could organise the printing of some promotional t-shirts? We could then have a forum competition for members to design a new logo & catchphrase for your company?

Anyway, bigbmw, you know I'm called Viv & that I'm a UK forum moderator, so perhaps you could provide me with a name I can call you, so we can discuss this forthcoming party in a more friendly manner? It would also help me to ensure I am actually dealing with someone who is actually from Big Motoring World in Kent, & not someone else who is trying to help plan a party which won't actually happen. That won't actually be too much of a problem for us however, as we tend to organise quite a few of our own over the course of each year.

If we're trying to do anything in this thread, it's trying to help you help your future second-hand BMW purchasers buy their car with more confidence.

Now, can you please let me know the names of your staff & when they will be available for Will to provide them with his customer service training? He has a very busy schedule, a very short leash & it's difficult to control him, so the sooner you let me know, the quicker we can sort this out.

If you really want to help, then perhaps you could make some amends by apologising to the appropriate individuals who've posted about their problems with your company over the previous 30-odd pages?

As you seem to want to contact your law team about the 'racialism' here, would you also be happy for our appropriate departments to pass on the contents of this thread to the local primary school's English teacher for translation of your posts, before we pass it on to Trading Standards?
