Could it be your location? I got $1700 off a coupe last October, and my car was around 5,500 less than yours list-price-wise. Our dealership has around 15 335's in stock (sedans), I doubt they'd only give $1564 off to move them. Just guessing I think a sedan would be more along the lines of 2,100+? |

Paid $700 over invoice for my e90 w/Premium, Sport, Nav, iPod, & Xenons. Probably couldn've gotten them down to $500 over, but this was the only color/interior/trim option I wanted that I could find in all of CA, and I'd already lost out on 3 other cars in the last two weeks that sold before I could get there.

I got a price that was 3.55% under MSRP with the options that I added. Not fantastic, but not horrible either seeing as how I don't have the military or employee discounts that a lot of you seemed to get. It was under Edmunds TMV price, if that's worth anything.
Placed my order last weekend. ![]()

I've been monitoring this thread for a while. It would appear that all other things equal, the "boil-it-down" market price for the 335i is around $1500 off MSRP give or take a couple of hundered bucks. Not sure how it varies between the coupe and the sedan. The coupe market might go a little softer once BMW rolls out the new 135i.

Not counting the people with the special military discounts or employee discounts, I'd say that's pretty accurate. Somewhere between 3% and 4% off of MSRP seems to be about right, which is around $1500 with the cars with less options, and closer to $2000 with more options.

I am getting about invoice +500 almost at all dealerships i am talking to right now, in both north and south cal. Has anyone done better than that for either a 328i or 335i sedan?

I got an 328i Sports Wagon from Weatherford about 3-4 weeks back for $300 under invoice (and, invoice included MACO, training and destination).
I initially went in for a 328i Sedan and they first offered me $50 over invoice for a 328i Sedan with Premium, Sport, Xenon and Automatic. I didn't want Sport, so they offered me $300 under invoice. They basically offered me $300 under invoice for any 328i Sedan/Wagon on their lot. I'm not sure if they would have given me the same deal on a 335i Sedan. |

$477 over invoice was the best I could do in the bay area for a 2008 335i sedan. I found that most were more than that and the dealer closest to me (East Bay BMW) refused to match the $477 offer I got from Weatherford. I have never been impressed with East Bay BMW anyway, but buying closer to home would have been nice.

$500 over invoice is substantially better than what I think most 335i's were going for several months ago. Makes sense, however, since I'm sure dealers want to clear all the 2007 vehicles to make room for the 2008's coming.

GREAT DEAL 328xi
New to the E90 Forum, former E36 M3 Conv owner.
Just went through quite an ordeal getting just the car I wanted. I actually felt like an internet sales manager was stalking me for a bit (4 calls a day + 30 emails) I NEVER would have gone with this CA, but the deal was just too sweet. Here's the deal: 2007 328xi Sedan (Production 7/2007) Monaco Blue Metallic Premium Package Cold Weather 6FL Ipod Carpet Mats and Rubber Mats MSRP: $41,325 + mats Invoice: $38,250 + mats Paid: $38,100 incl. mats/maco/deliv, etc. Bought car in North Jersey, PM if interested in more detail. Has anyone else seen numbers like this? It seems they want to get the 07's out quite badly. This one had not even arrived yet when I made the deal. |
