I have zero(0, null, zip, none) interest in purchasing the HPF kit. But i do have interest in ANY N54 single turbo.
And saying you're going to have the car on the dyno for a live feed and then saying the car is on the dyno, taking the feed down and going quiet for well over a week is BS. Either admit there's a problem or say everything is well and you're working on the tuning and numbers are coming.

If this build dies like the others and HPF refuses to explain why, i say they deserve a ban/removal of their vendor status. If you want to make money off of us, you need to keep an open dialogue.

I agree with all but the last part. I mean they have every right to take as long as they want. Have they lost some of their rep points with me, I'd say yes but if they make a quality final product, that should be everyones main concern. But to be honest, they fubared their publicity on this single turbo project by promising updates multiple times and failing to do so many times.

you guys are way too harsh to be honest...so what if they said they have the car on the dyno, so what if you were expecting whatever, honestly people! they're not just enthusiasts, they've got a business to run and interests to protect...let them work on it and i'm SURE they won't be quiet forever...they film everything they do that's worth showing and without even being there i know that they'll have an update when they see a good time for it...at this time no update means they have nothing to show and nothing is ready...that's it

Here, I'll pretend I'm Chris@HPF, how does this sound:
=========

Hey guys, we've had the car on the dyno and we're still working on it. Another E46 M3 came in and we had to do some work before getting back into the N54 so it'll have to wait another week. Very much work in progress and nothing to say at this point but that we're working on it.

- Chris

==========

Yaaaaaay, whoooray we got an update from Chris! Now what?

That last part i only meant if the build dies(i.e. it never happens.) It's BS there's so many failed single builds, but the tuners/fabbers refused to discuss why they failed. What EXACTLY makes this such a difficult task?

Ok.. So the reason why it has not hit the Dyno yet is because we are burning a good amount of oil at the moment. John is currently working on a check valve setup so we don't feed to much oil to the turbo. I wish I could be on here more guys but we have the Z4M, RHD, and a few other projects moving along now as well. I will do my best to keep you guys updated everyday from here on out!

that's weird Chris (channeled through DZ) said something different then Kirk.

Check valve sounds scary for everyday use.

We run a check valve on every HPF E46 M3 for the last 6 years. All it does is prevent oil from feeding to the turbo while the car isnt running.
The placement of the turbo is why this is needed, same reason why we need to run a scavenge pump.

So it has hit the dyno or not? I assume you got it on the dyno, said, oh well while it was off there was quite a bit of oil? I don't give a sh!t to be honest, it comes when it comes just curious.

To be 100% honest we went to Dyno the car and we were getting some crazy O2 feedback readings and figured out it was because it was covered in oil. Thanks for being patient, I know everyone wants to see this come to a head with some solid figures but understand it doesnt matter how much power we can make if its not reliable.
