Hi guys,

New to the forum, bought a cracking 320D Msport and love it. (First BMW)
I've bought some cables on eBay to add a Usb/aux socket to the center console (which already has an aux socket in situ). The HU also has BMW Bluetooth fitted and i'm wondering if i need it re-coded if, i swap the cables to my new ones.
I've Pm'd Frobius (travelling to Cambridge this weekend) and am waiting reply, but i think i have to have several posts first - have been a member for over 24 hours?

Any advice or suggestions for people who can code around west wales (normally) or Cambridge (This weekend) greatly appreciated.

Has your professional radio got BT built-in or have you got a module in the boot?

If the 1st, I'll be able to do it..... You'll have to stop enroute at Hemel Hempstead

That is exactly where it is. does this mean a problem for you?

other coding:
Chirp when car is locked unlocked
passenger mirror drops down when reverse is selected
Coding stereo to hifi -(depending what it actually is) < any info on this would be great

Unfortunately it's a problem for you.... as you don't have USB. You need a new module that has USB.

Also, the mirror dip in reverse can't be done via coding as you've got different wiring & maybe different mirrors (with out the function).

A lot of info on both is on the forum...

Thanks for getting back to me - confused as hell with all this. cant understand why bmw have made it that complicated to add a usb port to the HU. I've seen a few posts with people having bluetooth and no aux or usb but havent seen one with my set up. although i am new to the forum. any links ?

So as with any new forum, great to be here the search function has been a truly enlightening experience! found more information in the forums then I have done the past 2 weeks from local garages / main dealers / wanabe mechanics in figuring out how to upgrade/fix things here n there on my recent purchase of a 330D M Sport.

At the moment I'm looking for some coding assistance in the Essex / Lakeside area if there are people around still doing this?

have you bought the headunit with usb functionality or you wish to add usb to your current head unit?

I live in Essex (newbury park). I read you can retrofit electronic folding wing mirrors on F10.

Will you be able to do this in newbury park area and if yes what will be the cost ?

Hi guys,

I have bought M3 3 pin manual mirrors and need the wiring and coding doing for these as I have the 5 pin connectors.

And also, I am wanting the M3 seats I have installed. I have wired these but not the heated part of them, so need this doing, I have the switch pack for the heated seats and this is installed. You might want to change my wiring that I have done, but its working.

Also, can I have it done mobile in Sheffield ?? If not I am willing to travel.

Can anyone do any coding for me in Leicester area?

I am looking to have done on my BMW 320D E90 M Sport:

- passenger mirror drops down when reverse is selected.
- Disable driver side seatbelt warning.
- Wipers return to end position after engine is off.
- Switch DRL from inner bulb to angel eyes.
- enable Digital speed display.
