Hey guys with the help of Cbad335 I installed a Procede this last weekend. Everything seems to be working just fine besides 2 episodes of limp mode, but I think that was my own fault and driving habit at the time. Turned off the car, turned on and everything has run fine since.
My question is for an MSport car that is 6AT and only mods are DCI and Procede should I be running Stage 0 Map 1 or Stage 1 Map 1? Vishnus site specifies stage1 for unmodified or lightly modified cars. But then why have a stage 0? |

+1, you should be running map 1. However, I don't think the new 9/10 maps are autotuning. Check the Vishnu website; it may help to clear adaptations before running the new maps. Also, review your service records for plug changes. If your plugs have never been changed, it may be helpful to install a fresh set.

Jesse, read the Read Me First file for that map. It outlines the procedure for clearing adaptations:
Step 5: Once uploaded, go to Mode 3 on the Command Center and do commands 12 thru 1 (12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 in that order). It's also a good idea to wait 10 seconds once Command 3 is executed (DME reset) before progressing to 2 and then 1. Step 6: Go to COMMS menu in user software and select "Reset Procede". This will take a few seconds. With the newer user software, you will have to manually go offline/online since the software will not automatically recover from the Reset. Step 7: Turn ignition power fully OFF and wait 5 seconds

Thanks Steve. I have been running the map 1 on the car since we installed it and I did find all those same links and directions. I was just curious as to what the difference was for Stage 0 and Stage 1 as per Vishnu's site the 9-10 maps are not autotuning.
The car is going in for servicing this weekend so I will have them do/check the plugs and everything else as well. Then once I re-install the Procede I will do all the resets and commands along with some datalogs hopefully, just so I have a baseline. |

Good morning everyone. Wheels and coils have been taken off the car and are up for sale.
ST Coilovers (ST-90232) - Fits E90 and E92 - $500, has about 10k on them. Forgestar F14 19x8.5/19x10, Custom Anthracite Powdercoat, w/ Nitto 555 235/40-19 and 265/35-19 tires with about 75% tread. Zero curb rash excellent shape. $1600 local. Woot, pics will be posted up later. |

I need this, too, but I've heard diesels don't even have a visual inspection, just a scan for codes.

Hey guys, I think this has been asked before, sorry for the repeat question, but aren't there advisors in South County BMW that are sympathetic to JB4 tunes that are installed? If it saves me taking it out, that would be great.
I want to take the car in for warranty repair because it seems to be eating antifreeze. I've had to top it off twice in the last 2-3 weeks. Any thoughts? |

Wheel pics.
Fronts: 19x8.5, ET35, 235/35-19 Nitto Tires (80% tread) Rears: 19x10, ET30 (may require rolling fenders on LCIs), 265/30-19 Nitto NT555 tires (70% tread left) Wheels have never been curbed. there is one small mark (think its from a pothole) but the wheels have been repowdercoated in november, which covers it. Wheels are in great shape. The new powdercoat is awesome, it looks alot lighter in daylight and at night its darker, as you can see from the pics. Powdercoat was done in escondido at electro-tech. |
