It feels firmer than the 16" but not harsh ride at all.
At high speeds 100+ MPH if the road is not perfect it tends to move a little in the line, also worth mentioning it sits a little bit higher now, so maybe is for that.

I have set of Apex arc8s that are squared set up. 18x9.5 et35 with 265/35/18 tires on them. I would like to put them on my 328i, and I know I will need camber plates and 5mm spacer on the front clear the shock. The question I have is can I do it on stock suspension, or do I need to got with coilovers?

Happy to help. Are you using the car for HPDE's, or will this be primarily a street car? The 18x9.5" ET35 square fitment with 265/35-18 is a great performer for track enthusiasts, but could be considered "overkill" for enthusiasts using their car primarily on the street (up front specifically).

Since this fitment is most attractive for track enthusiasts, it is most common that coilovers are apart of the equation. With that said, they are not required and stock suspension can certainly be used. When you purchase adjustable camber plates (absolutely necessary for this fitment to work up front), you will simply select plates manufactured to fit the OEM suspension. You will need to dial in a healthy amount of negative camber up front in effort to clear the front fenders.

This car is basically street car, I might try to autocross it here and there if I have time. But this set up I was originally running on my e46m3 which was awesome for street and track. I wanted to see if could get away with out selling the wheels and just putting them on my 328i but I'm probably better of selling them and getting a different set of wheels.

Sounds good. The 18x9.5" ET35 with 265 tire square fitment is one of the best E46 M3 fitments for sure. With that said, I would probably sell them off and go with something that suits the E9X chassis a bit better.

I would recommend one of the following fitments:

Square:
Front & Rear: 18x9" ET30/31 - 245/40-18 or 255/35-18

Staggered:
Front: 18x9" ET30/31 - 235/40-18
Rear: 18x9.5" ET35 - 265/35-18

If you desire a lower (more aggressive) offset, you could add anyone of our spacers to the equation. We offer 3mm, 5mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm and 20mm

soybmw Yes, but the rubbing is minimal.

I'm a perfectionist. The first I noticed rubbing was with the car loaded with 4 adults plus luggage, en route to the airport. Rubbing was infrequently audible when going over bumps.

Rubbing is occasionally audible depending on road maintenance. Like I said, I like my stuff to operate well. The rubs are so infrequent that they don't bother me.

Having said this, the decision on how much is too much is of course subjective and not universal.

Ryan do StopTech 380MM brakes fit with ARC-8's 18x10.5 et27? As-is and then assuming a 20mm spacer is used?

Yes sir, these wheels will clear the ST 6 pot 380mm BBK no problem! Spacers or no spacers, won't matter.

It is a bit difficult to get a concave 19" staggered fitment on the F30 chassis as our 19" line does not offer as many unique widths and offsets like our 17" and 18" lines do. Concave face profiles require a particular offset and wheel width combination to be feasible, and since the F3X chassis does not take very aggressive wheel specifications, concave fitments front and rear do not come easy.

This fitment may require negative camber and rear fender rolling to prevent rubbing, but it is certainly do-able on the F3X chassis.


Staggered ARC-8 - Profile 3 Concave Face
Front: 19x8.5" ET20
Rear: 19x9.5" ET33

So I got EC-7 et35, 9.5 w/ 265/35r18 with Aelous all-season tires. And the fitment was disappointing. Added a 10mm spacers and it looked better with an ideal flush. No rubbing as well.

I have an '08 328xi and the suspension sits high.

Will an et25 10 with 275/35r18 will work w/o rubbing?

Might just move the 9.5s to the front.
