It's gonna be a close race lol.

We just finished up fabbing a new muffler, we just need to send it to our supplier and confirm their jig before we can place an order. One step closer.

Apologies if this has been answered before, but I would like to get a clear answer on whether this new revision has any impact on exhaust tone?

I am in no way bashing VRSF, I have had nothing but great experiences with Tiago and fitment of the products... but the VRSF exhaust just doesn't seem to be much of an improvement from the videos I have found. (Almost seems to tone it down actually)

To be clear, I am comparing the sound of VRSF DP w/ stock exhaust vs. VRSF DP & Exhaust.

VRSF DP & Exhaust (unable to find n55)

VRSF DP w/ Stock exhaust (n55)

There will be two versions, one that sounds identical to the previous version and another that's a bit more spirited, less restrictive and A LOT louder for those who like that sort of thing.

The street version will be quiet and will incorporate little to no drone just like the previous version. The race version is going to be obnoxiously loud with an unavoidable amount of drone

The street version is one the milder side in terms of decibel rating. It's definitely on the quieter side but it offers a significant difference in tone and weighs about 40lbs less in comparison to the stock system. The looks of the polished piping/muffler don't hurt either

Top vid is my car. Still my favorite exhaust i've ever owned. Not loud by any means but tone is the best i've heard for an N54

Please have the tips clamp on for those that want to switch to quad. Also will there be any resonator with the "race" version or just straight pipe?

Put me down for the Race version.

Do people still make bolt ons with clamp on tips? I would definitely be swapping the tips out on the race version as well.

I think it said earlier on that the tips were adjustable. In reference to your video. You've compared an N54 and N55. Pretty big difference in exhaust notes.

Yes I did note that above the videos, I was unable to find an N55 with VRSF DP & Exhaust.

I'm sure they won't post anything about price until it is completely done I just hope the race exhaust is as reasonably priced as their street system...either way I got cash waiting I want to be the first on the list
