Pure Turbos N55 single turbo upgrade

It has been soaking wet here last 3 days. They promise dry weather maybe this afternoon or tomorrow so will shoot your log then

Just installed my pure stage 1 V2 last night. Took me about 3.5 hours. Put in some E85 on the way back to work this morning. Car pulls so great now in the top end, absolutely love it. Anyone on the fence about this mod should pull the trigger in my opinion. Dyno coming soon.

I'm seriously considering this upgrade. Just waiting on some dyno #'s. Are you planning on using a dyno jet or mustang dyno?

Yes I installed it myself. But I'm at tech at a BMW/MINI shop. It was a bit difficult. But I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself if your not familiar with these cars mechanically.

When are you guys going to start work on the Stage 2? I don't think you need much bigger exhaust wheel, probably around 15% more flow. That should get us to mid 400's and still spool basically like stock. I was starting to warm up to that other place, but after the latest incident, no way. I can't do business with a company that acts like that.

We started working on the Stage 2 a while ago. Our goal is the 500whp mark.

I too was going with other company, but I don't want to scratch my ass for 6 months for a product. I want to do stage 2 for f10 n55.

Or be left with a turbo that has a million issues. The "other company" is real unprofessional. Issues should have been sorted out before offering to the public. I said once and I will say it again, I would never give them ANY of my money.

We are excited, we have gone to great lengths to squeeze the most power possible out of this platform. It's not just fitting a different CHRA into the housings, it's much more than that.

I am also sore and have heard nothing but good things on you guys. I have time as my car is still too new but do you have any idea on timing; as in 2014 or more like spring summer 2015 - any idea of time range?

Curious as to what else you are looking into for the N55. 500 seems aggressive so i'm pondering on your plans
