I'm LSD shopping boys, any personal recommendations? I am leaning towards a Quaife from VAC Motorsports.

My car's never seen a track but I plan to change that this season.

Time to sell and wondering what you guys think its worth. I have a baby now and its the right time with high used car prices. Car has never been modded or chipped. Never driven poorly.

2011 DCT Black with brown interior. No Idrive. (Florida car kept in garage)
35k miles. I bought the car in 2014 with 26k miles and put on less than 10k miles in 7 years lol. I rarely drove the thing other than weekends up and down some roads. The interior and exterior are in good condition. I'm not even sure anyone ever sat in the back seats honestly. FRont seats very minor wear and im not a big dude so there really arent any dents in the seats other than normal light wear. Engine has no check lights and runs great. Wheels and tires are the 19" 313's with MPSS on them.

The bad. 2 minor minor low speed accidents. Both at stops where someone rolled into me like idiots. Had all the work done at BMW collision center. Back bumper and driver door ding. All fixed obviously.

What's it worth in this insane used car market? Seeing some really high prices on ebay for same model with stupid high miles. Figured I'd list there to get top dollar. Thanks

My two cents as someone that moderates a 335is sale page on FB. The absolute high end on this is about $25k with your mileage and two Carfax dings, regardless of the actual damage. The crap you see on Ebay is just that. Those are all dealership cars that are $5-$10k overpriced. No one in their right mind is walking in and paying that. The loan value is nowhere near that high and there's not too many people with $25k-$30k cash to just drop on it so it ends up being a dealership financed deal with a ridiculous interest rate.

If yours was a really desirable combo like a white with coral interior manual I'd go $27k-$29k. I routinely see these sit for months because the seller is convinced that it's some ultra rare unicorn and sets a unrealistic price that turns off buyers before they even inquire. It comes down to what you want out of it and what someone is willing to pay, that's what dictates it's "worth". If you don't mind sitting on it and dealing with tire kickers, start high. If you're interested in a quicker sale and a minimum of hassle, start with a more modest price.

I usually start off by looking at the kelly blue book value of used private sale and go off that. You'll know if what you had in mind is outrageously to much for the actual value of the car in the market IMO.

That said if it helps, I bought my white one this year at around 90k miles and it was 13k$ converted into USD so I'd agree with LMB335IS about 25k would be about that for your mileage.

And shit sorry to hear that you've driven your car so little yet you've been hit twice by idiots that sucks.

Yeah I mean its a 10 year old car in a market where dealers have no inventory, but at the same times its still a 10 year old car lol. I agree. I'm not unrealistic about it. I had a price in mind and figured around 25k actually. Not sure if its worth an ebay listing or auto trader or what. I'm not having people come to my house that's for damn sure. I dont have time or want that hassle.

Thanks for the comments

Be careful with Ebay. I sell the occasional cluster on there and the fees are insane although the fee structure may be different for vehicles. Otherwise best of luck.

Lol, that car is a dumpster fire. Two accidents (front and rear, Carfax report said "car on fire"), and 5 owners. Not to mention the hack job mods.

Have you looked into the Mfactory setup? From my understanding we have the welded on our 6mt and have to buy the $2k option from either Mfactory or Wavetrac

Question: Who here would change their front bumper duct fang things to gloss black?

I actually like to remove those completely and remove the middle mesh grille to.

Well I'm not doing that lol I'm getting older.

But I am going to swap out my matte m3 mirrors for proper gloss ones, or paint them, soon. And with blacked out headlights at some point those are like the last matte pieces on the car, and the rear bumper I guess. Maybe just get new and leave em alone

Decided on the Wavetrac LSD, stock 3.08 gearing (manual). Also throwing in some Turner solid aluminum rear subframe bushings and M3/stock diff bushings while I'm at it.

Also, I'm beginning to gather parts for an F8x brake conversion. Should be a decent upgrade for a fraction of the price of a true BBK, and still aesthetically pleasing.

Edit: returned the PowerFlex diff bushings and went with the the M3 front & stock rear diff bushing combo.

That's a similar route I'd be taking also. Let us know how it feels when you get it

Hello, new to the forums. Here is my 2013 Lemans blue with grey dct. I am trying to see if anybody with dct tried ford 8.8 rear end? How do you like it and just want some feed back.

Thank you

Anyone interested in a Vac built Quaife LSD with stock FD, full pumpkin... less than 10k miles, located in Southern California... PM me!

Also have some Ohlin R+T with swift springs and Vorshlag camber plates.

Would have loved this before I dropped an arm & a leg on my Wavetrac. Installing mine this weekend along with the bushings I mentioned previously.

Talking New 335is

Hey everybody. Here to introduce my newest financial mistake. A dead clean 2012 335IS 6MT in Lemans Blue on Beige leather. Came across this thing and I couldn't resist. I knew the 6mt's rarity, but didn't realize there were only 7 made in this spec. I've been digging around, but I can't even find a picture of another one! Let me know if anybody here shares this spec!
Don't mind my missing headlight washer cover. Already go it replaced
