Yep, K9Leader is accurate about how straight forward it is. It also helps to have a few extra door card fasteners laying around because sometimes they are brittle (I have a bunch of them, but they're in FL at the moment). But the generic replacements from Amazon really do just bolt right up after drilling out the mushrooms from the old pulls. Think of the mushrooms as plastic rivets, so the drilling is just seconds to get rid of them.

I think the first cars.com listing of the 2011 e91 is very clean, definitely not clapped out like the others.

Yeah, aside from decoding it, to see if it's factory M Sport, look for black headliner, gloss shadow line trim (as opposed to matt), M Sport dead pedal/left foot rest, M Sport door sill trim and the steering wheel is super fat. Fatter than Sport package.

It really is a timeless combo. There was a 50k miles E91 6MT M sport lemans blue on black for sale in AA late summer of 2016, but a dealer from Chicago beat me to it by 2 days. I had to jump on this one when it popped up in San Francisco. It was bought sight unseen, but with a PPI.

I usually take it to St Johns for the annual concours d'elegance, but otherwise don't visit the local enthusiast scene as much as I used to.
