Today was a huge win.

1. I bought a full loaded rear view mirror at the junk yard for $5 and plate bracket for $3. The mirror was plug and play to my surprise.

2. I programmed a fully working CA key for my car

3. I bought a CIC for $85 and a screen for $108.

If anyone has a CIC display cable send me a PM.

Yes, I know the argument - the 328 brake calipers are nothing you want to emphasize; just for function, not for form. But I like the little touch of red behind the wheels on my Space Gray E91. While I would like to put more aesthetically pleasing calipers on, these will have to do for a while as the rotors and pads are fairly new and I'm about to drop big bucks on a transmission for my '99 Corvette (so I have reached the limit on my wife's car expenditure limit for the foreseeable future). And from normal viewing distance, only purists would note anything other than that touch of red behind the wheels.

What turbos did you wind up going for ? I went with VTT stock housing, upgraded wastegate and their forged compressor wheel (Just 20% more air).

I heard the LKQ junkyards in California are a great place for E90 parts.

It wasn't too bad. I used Duplicolor Caliper Paint, brush on, that I bought a year and a half ago to do my son's Mazda 6 calipers. It took a lot longer to dry than I remembered on the Mazda, perhaps due to aging of the paint and the higher humidity (did the Mazda in April vs. August for the BMW). Probably should have gotten a new can for this job, or maybe looked into another brand of paint. Here's a daylight shot with the wheel in place - just a little touch of color.

I do prefer the greater reliability and firmer feel of the stainless steel brake lines. Stopping is kind of important.

They did mine with no problem. So, some dealerships are getting the parts.

I agree that the Mtech rear looks better but if I can get a deal on either... modding on a budget!

The base seats are just so, so terrible.

What color is your car? Would lean towards gunmetal over black but car color could change my mind. Beensoe

I've seen orange/amber metallic on a black car and it was stunning. Not sure how I feel about it on a TiAG car. Might have to see more pics
