Newbie to the forum and just had to join after googling BIG MOTORING WORLD to share my experience.

My wife bought an X3 with full BMW service history and a years MOT. Picked the car up 3 months MOT and missing service book. Offered a free MOT - wuppity wup, should have been done already - and advised the service book was in their filing system definitely existed because the sales guy had seen it - yeah rite, you lie for a living and decided to take advantage of a female who was clueless about cars (with respect to my missus).

After calling every week for three months (YES 3 MONTHS) I was told that they had found the book and it was in the post. On receipt a week later, I dindn't have the warmest of feelings so rang the main dealers who had stamped the book. Feck me every one of them said they had never serviced my car and on checking the BMW system the vehicle had never been serviced at a main dealer.

So, I rang BIG MOTORING WORLD (who are liars, con artists and now beginning to get verbally aggressive) who fobbed me off with the line that they had made a mistake and that they had given me a service book for an identical X3 in terms of colour and engine/trim etc but with one number different on the reg - BIG MOTORING WORLD you are full of shit.

I marched down there and saw the 'Manager'. He was a retarded spiv who was as stupid as he was slimy and proceeded to tell me the car was never advertised with a full service history. I showed him my file with the original advert with print date, he told he I had doctored the document, I told him he was a cunt and that Trading Standards would be advised and they would have access to his computer records which would corroborate my facts.

He then changed tack and became my 'best friend' in a way I assume he normally reserves for his prospective customers. Cutting my rant short, I got a full refund and then promptly reported him to Trading Standards when the cheque cleared.

Do not do business with Big Motoring World, they are crooked.

As an aside, anyone who has bought one of their cars and been impressed with the quality of the wheel refurbs beware. Many of their vehicles have aftermarket replica wheels which are of an inferior quality AND INFRINGE ON BMW's COPYWRIGHT/PATENT.

Furthermore would you want to drive a car with potentially dangerous replica wheels, particularly for say a heavy X5 or a performance 540 ??

I am so glad I found this thread...I think it has given me closure

Keep up the good work guys and DON NOT BUY FROM BIG MOTORING WORLD.

If the guys at Big Motoring World, Wrotham are reading this and are unhappy with any of the facts, please feel free to post up on here or alternatively come round my house - you have my details. But the fact that you are gutless cocksuckers intent on ripping off uneducated buyers and or women just about sums you lot up.

Thank fuck for Karma...can't wait until you get yours
OK Big - whats is your reply to this? I am certain that a reply to issues raised rather than calling people racialists would go a long way to rebuiding your reputation. As for big = good, two of the largest car suppliers 'yes car credit' and carcraft have been hammered for their sharp practices.

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

Just caught up on the last few pages of this thread.

bigbmw is surely someone on a wind-up? No one person could be this moronic yet still achieve success in business (mind you, looking at most of our politicians I guess anything is possible).

Viv,

Are you serious about bigbmw's IP address? Definitely coming from inside Big BMW? If so that's utterly insane.

Finally, I would like to point out the the following:

"Who" and "how" are two different words.

"They're", "there" and "their" are different words with different meanings, learn them all and use them appropriately.

What, in the name of God, does "dyslectic" mean?

And did he not say that he only found the thread as he was snowed in? I presumed he meant snowed in at home and unable to get to work (like many of us last week) but if the IP address was from Big Motoring World then was he snowed in there or was he lying?

I take it Viv meant it was the same IP address as the early posters "I've bought 14-15 cars with no problem" etc.

What else can you find out from the IP Viv? Can it be linked directly to Big?

Viv,

Our internet forum fraud investigation department has taken appropriate steps to rule out the possibility that 'bigsy', as I will now call him, could be a 'hoax' poster.

They have now completed their work & it appears that 'bigsy' is actually from Big Motoring World.

The last set of IP addresses from which 'bigsy' has been posting are different to his earlier ones. However, they do still match those from a number of other individuals who we know have been posting from Big Motoring World. He may well have been posting from home or on a different Big Motoring World internet connection. After carrying out an IP lookup, the earlier-used IP address appears to originate from Big Motoring World's own domain!
He's either a very accomplished hacker, able to mask & modify his IP addresses very well, or he's just in need of some professional help, a lot of which Will will be able to provide for him. I feel the latter applies.

As above, aj, yes, earlier IP addresses are actually linked to Big Motoring World's own domain.

To find that all of 'bigsy's' posts have been posted by a perpetrator could be understandable, but to find that they are not, well, what can I say.
Perhaps 'bigsy' may understand more clearly, if I said this:

2 Red Z4Ms - both for £17k. One with 20k, one with over 50k miles. Why the same price? Could the low miler be a phantom lure to get you over, then find, sorry the low mileage car just sold this morning, have a look at our leggy one instead.........

Absolute hilarity.

ps: Viv: Re "Artistic".

I'm sure he would have gone with "Artisticist"

Or simply licked the screen. Whichever came to mind first at the time.

It seems that you are actually posting on IP addresses which we know to be from Big Motoring World! I think this now makes your position in this thread even more ridiculous, don't you?

If you really want to help, then perhaps you could make some amends by apologising to the appropriate individuals who've posted about their problems with your company over the previous 30-odd pages?

As you seem to want to contact your law team about the 'racialism' here, would you also be happy for our appropriate departments to pass on the contents of this thread to the local primary school's English teacher for translation of your posts, before we pass it on to Trading Standards?

If it would make it easier, shall we just invite both of our law teams to the party. That way, after a few drinks, they may forget to charge you for wasting their time.

Now let's get to to real problem here- do we invite Carl to the party or not?

Best wishes.

Viv

PS- are you able to source some new winter tyres for my Polish wife's Mini please- she'd be really grateful & I might even think about bringing some Madness Cd's to the party!
well lets have your law teams address then and phone number and how to right to we are seeking legal advice now on all of this forum ref untruths if you have nothing to hide give your head office address to write to to or are you hiding behind the Internet

If you did post a pic that would certainly p*ss on my bonfire and restore some of your credibility. If I were you I would. What's the spec difference, sat nav?

Well, as most people on here would know, I am in fact in the market for a Z4M but a Coupe and not a Roadster. FACT. Not, as you say, 'nothing better to do', so, even if you could source me one I'd tell you to swivel based on attitude alone .

Both look like they've got Sat Nav to me; just one is folded down.

In that case here is another "untruth" (the word is "lie" by the way. Not that anything we have written is a lie. Unlike your own company's spurious dealings online.. ) for you to get me sued over:

You are making your company look ridiculous. And anyone who spells "Spec" as "Speck" is quite frankly a "Spick". I'd tell you to move on before you do your companies' limited credibility any further damage: But if you had any sense at all you would have long since done that. So clearly, you don't.

Therefore I've decided to post a picture of clown for you. It is the most appropriate thing I can think of in response to your messages. Hopefully it will make you giggle and smile. Just don't get too excited, you might cack your nappy.

Clown:

Did you enjoy the clown?

He is not going to address any examples of wrong doing on this thread.

Hopefully he will realise that threatening legal action has not worked and desist with it. Clearly, he hasn't actually sought legal advice otherwise he would know that there is no vicariously liable organisation to pursue.

That leaves libel laws. He would be obliged to pursue the people who actually posted the original allegations and not the people who have since made fair comment and then been hostile to his own ridiculous comments.

Unfortunately for him, the originators of the allegations have a highly inconvenient defence; - the truth.

So, bigbmw, drop the legal threats, we have all sorts on these forums, - including litigation lawyers, police officers, VAT inspectors, tax inspectors, - and Will !

I really can't understand how a company like Big Motoring World this is still in business. Run by pikies by the looks of it... with absolutely no education or more importantly common sense.
