Have we heard any updates on Jakes fix on the timing tables for post shift throttle loss and jerkiness?

Youtube it, there are some vids floating around on there. I have a PE on an E92 with stock downpipes and 3 sec, aggressive is ridiculously loud. Pretty sure if you keep the revs around 4k or so in 2nd, this will shoot flames.

Yeah I also have PE on my e92, fully catless with resonators, and if I put it on aggressive it sounds like my mufflers are exploding... I currently have it on soft (not softer) and it still crackles like crazy

This is an awesome feature, absolutely loving it. Any shot of getting a setting in between medium and hard? Concerned about drawing just a bit too much attention driving around city streets. Of course I could just remember to drive at lower rpm's when I need to, but I'm not that strong willed

J. Dizzle - so I am a bit behind on everything with the amount of work I've had lately but am I correct in assuming that at the end of the week after my DP+FMIC are installed and I'm ready to jump stages, this will just be an additional checkbox in the options with a few settings?

Seems like it worked out to be almost too easy with the types of results some are saying they're getting. Eat that, N55's! We've got MHD and now we've got your burbles and gurgles too!

Super shoutout to J. Dub (your name breaks tagging lol) for pushing this and of course WedgePerformance & BuraQ and whoever else including testers for getting it done.

It's fun having a car that people are still finding new ways to enjoy after a decade, especially when the platform and tuning in general are new to me.

Correct in your assumptions. BUT you don't have to wait to jump stages. Whatever stage you are on, currently with MHD, you will have the option if you have the beta version of the app
And yes, I agree. Wonderful to see us finding new ways to enjoy the 10 yr old platform.
The biggest thanks is to jake at motiv. Admittedly.
BuraQ was the first to give this a try.
Twisted tuning also had a go at it.
And Jake cracked it wide open and gave it to Marshal at MHD.

But its wonderful to see so many tuners come together.

Would there happen to be an ETA on the fix for the jerkiness? Feeling it a lot on the highway.

I posted a 1.40 beta build, should be online in a couple of hours. This is a first attempt to correct low load jerkiness (the applied settings were not 100% conform with what jyamona designed).

07/05/2016 - v1.40
- Exposed a second exhaust burble duration slider to differentiate normal and sport modes.
- Fixed exhaust burble very low load jerkiness behavior.

Interesting on the second slider... I will play with this before asking questions like what is it, etc...

Thanks guys

Would it be possible to include a slider to only activate the burbles above a specified rpm? I like it, but it's annoying around town when you let off normally around 2.5k and it pops. I'd like it to only burble above 4k.

By sport mode you mean when the automatic guys move over to the left to engage sport shifting? I assume this is not for the manual guys?

I would think that it's referring to the sport button that a few models have. Since the first version that included this mod, my 5 series only seems to do it when that button is pressed. In regular mode it has more or less the same amount of burbles. Shifting the trans into sport mode doesn't seem to directly affect the sound but it does cause earlier downshifting and longer gears which intensifies the effect.

I'm surprised by this, in my E60, I really think the only factor for more or less noise is the rpms and amount of engine breaking (as in letting off downhill creates more pops than uphill). It would be nice to have the DS mode or "sport" button turn up the effect but I really like when I'm on the freeway cruising in D, 80ish, and letting off I can hear the burbles from inside the car. Also if you have paddles It would be important to make sure that going into M mode doesn't turn off the effect as it's not in DS mode anymore.

Also, It doesn't seem like enough people have the actual "sport" button for that to be used as the switch, since it's mostly in the E60s. Just my humble opinion. Any added feature is greatly appreciated here
