Other than timing corrections, everything looks to be in order.

Curious what FMIC you're running though. Between that and/or adding a bit more octane, you should be good.
Dp,bms dci, inlets, 7 inch ic, stage 2 lpfp...still kinda curious why my bov is not as loud as it use to be

If you want your BOV to be louder, remove the engine cowl.

Yup vrsf and the cowl is off...could it be my wastegates or boost solenoid?

Is it colder there, fwiw?

Anyway, kept in mind if thats the case, it will boost lower and blowoff less

Here's a 3rd-5th pull on my otherwise stock '10 335xi. Everything looks good except for 5th? Not really sure what I'm looking for besides excessive timing being pulled. Anyways, what do u guys think?

AFR starts at 12.6 and drops through pull to 11.8
timing starts around 3 and raised to around 9 by end of rpm range.

Great job on that log! Nice clean/concise data you got there If only we all lived near roads that empty lol

What are your mods?

How old are the plugs/coils/walnut blast/etc.

Thanks!

Engine is all stock. MHD was my 1st performance mod running 93+FMIC map. I should probably get an intercooler lol.

All Plugs and coils are new-ish ~about 4K miles on them. Not sure about walnut blast or injectors. I got the car used at 86K with poor history and it just turned over 94K.

I work at 2am; there's 1 stretch to do a nice pull every morning

I just thought it was weird that everything looked fine in 3rd and 4th, but 5th pulled timing like crazy. I won't be boosting in 5th until I get a custom tune

*(crappy) pic for attention*

No need for a custom tune. As long as you don't drive it hard in 5th and ambient temps stay low, Stage 1+ should treat you just fine.

Otherwise step down to Stage 1; corrections should reduce and/or cease to appear.

Either that or upgrade your front mount

So just to fill everyone in.... I cant say for sure if this is the case but when my injectors failed in Oct 15' and flooded my exhaust with raw fuel... I damaged my bank one Cat and this just sent me on a downward spiral. My Cat was completely melted and in chunks and my exhaust was basically blocked... causing all the issues.

I'm considering doing a stage 1 tune. I did a log of my car stock.

Can someone take a look and let me know if everything looks good? I think it does, I'm just not sure of everything I should be looking at:

http://datazap.me/u/minixp/log-14863...21-23-24-25-26

There's actually 3 logs in the above link you can switch between. First one is most of the rpm range through 3rd. The other 2 are starting in 2nd, then going through most of 3rd.

Thanks Muncie, didn't see this originally, have added some mods to the car, pretty sure I now have a boost leak, need to chase that first then I'll check boost solenoids etc, hopefully I don't need new injectors

FBO, Exxon 93. Fixed a leak I had on my chargepipe and still seems to correct everywhere. Worth getting all new coils?

Seems pretty aggressive 200+ load all through!
Is that a 2nd gear?

Hey-

Nope! This is a 3rd gear WOT. Interestingly enough though, I logged with a fresh tank of Sunoco 93 and installed the BMS DCI, logged again. Looks better?

Not bad, quick i say unless you were going down a hill.

Notice little lean at 3k and in general may result in corrections. Dci prbly has nothing to do.

Haha, no I agree about the DCI. Funny you mention it, I took it off a couple hours ago and logged with stock airbox on a less aggressive map and made similar power as DCI with the more aggressive map. Looks like my WG work harder and I actually lose torque with the DCI, almost a 1psi of pressure highlighting the less dense air. I think stock box and this below map are close to perfect, what do you think? Slightly less boost and I'm good?

e25 ots tune, E30 fuel used, stock

havent been able to get a good read/advice on any tunes/logs since ownership -- would love to hear anyones thoughts.

stock 09, auto. running e25 ots mhd and actually running e30 mixture in this run(miscalculation at the pump)

car has been feeling a little less zippy(all tunes) relating to building boost at low rpms at any load..

Fuel doesn't look to be E30, vacuum hoses and/or boost solenoids need attention.

thanks, Shane.

You say the fuel rating might be off? I ran 4.5 gallons of E85 and the rest CA 91 octane, which is/should be 10% ethanol. equalling 30% ethanol mix.

i will try to get access to a vacuum tester to test the wastegate solenoids and or any leaks..

anything else look off? aside from things related to fuel and or boost/solenoid leaks?

Hey guys. Just changed to an ETS intercooler. Running MHD 7.1v Stage 1+. Ran two logs, one before the IC change, and one after. Please let me know what you guys think!
