Jesus was more than likly born around end of September so your a bit early.
Early Roman church took over the pagan dates to squash theres. So used the SOL holiday - whatever it was- as Jesus's birthday.

For <><'s his death (and resurrection) is a more important event.
I say event because the date of Easter isn't correct either
(same reason for his birth)

That said.... I stopped quoting this every time someone said that.
As long as people realize the reason the date is kinda moote

The queen has 2 birthdays.
And personally if someone remembers I have a birthday at some point in the year, that works for me too.... NO socks please
