Got my car back today from Abra. Bumper fits perfectly and they even were able to get my new foglamps working. I will just need to adjust the levels and switch to yellow bulbs. The only issue was with the headlamp washers that couldn't work with new bumper. Actually, it's not really an issue since I never liked them from the start.

Should I upload a tease picture? hahah

Looks awesome. I need to know what they did to get the fogs to work! Just pull the fuse for your headlight washers. Thats what I did. No error thrown either!

Have any of you guys been to Target Field yet? I got ahold of our company tickets for yesterday's game and despite the sunburn it was a good time! There seemed to be much more of an atmosphere there than at the Metrodome.

Plan to be there on the 12th of May. I just want to know one thing: How were the hot dogs?

Thanks, the body shop just needed a new 9006 pigtail and one of the techs just connected it together.

[QUOTE=Nick.CBR;7138547]Oh, yeah yeah, I knew that (not really)

I've been MIA from the board lately so my bad.

Provided my car starts, I will be there

APPT made at MTKA on Monday. Man I'm just pissed at this thing for being shitty in an area that should have been perfected by now. I mean a fuel pump, how fucking hard can that be to get right? Even if it is direct injection I don't care - the N54 is an AWESOME engine but it will forever be remembered for having shitty high pressure fuel pumps.

If this thing strands me though. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh man. Those S5's are HOT with the blower motor.

Sorry to vent guys.

Vent all you want man! I am in the same boat, I am just waiting for it to fail! Anyway, if your car won't cooperate, let me know and I can give you a ride. I am planning on running some boost data logs using Brian's BT tool. I want to make sure there are no boost oscillation issues.

Cheers,
Anvar

I think you should try switching to Top Tier fuel on your next pump. I've only used Shell in my car and thus far haven't had even a hint of a problem (says he as he touches wood...). Despite what people say about there being HPFP failures in other parts of the world, I don't think the issue is as rampant as in the US. I do think the ethanol content of the gas is a major factor - try Kwik Trip or Shell man!

The speculation runs rampid on why they break on here; the moron who designed the pump knows the fix and I bet it's a pricy one given current stock of pumps 'n whatnot throughout the world, price to replace them off the shelf, etc.

Do your top tier places offer 93? Remember, my car loves the juice

Nick
Shell and Qwitkrip dont offer 93 unfortunately. I stick to BP, the Queen's choice! I am surprised you don't buy BP Gary given your Irish roots! No love for the British company

As an auditor, here is the problem with that data. Shell is a recommended company, hence more people are going to use it. As reflected in the data 52% of the polled users use Shell. 38% don't have HPFP issues, while 14% do. Roughly, about 36% of shell users have issues. If you look at Exxon Mobile, only about 27% of users have issues. So, while the data "looks" favourable for Shell, it is by no means conclusive
