Hey which shop in Scottsdale do you take your car to? I just passed 50k miles on my 1er so it's time I find a reputable 3rd party shop that won't rape my wallet as much as the dealership would.

Anyone know of a place in Tucson where I could get the active autowerke performance chip? Or an aftermarket mod shop?

I will be making a BBQ meet mid/late-October, last time we had it at McDowell, which have BBQ areas of no more than 8-10 parking spots... Would be too small for us gauging with all the interest a meet has. I spent like 30 min doing this as I'm bored:

http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/4346/mcdowellmap.jpg

The BBQ's are good for 5-6 people, no more and there are 2 grills on each side for the 8-10 parking spaces. Most of the spots are 100's of feet apart and there isn't much space to park on the alongside the road. I can't reserve BBQ spots either unless I think there's a ton of people. I hope the fire ban will lift by then. If you have any ideas for a meet let me know, there isn't that many choices available.

Does anyone want this?

I want some money to finish my tire setup. Here's the test fitment of the rear tires, I think the poke too much. I went here. Great place, very reasonable pricing and helpful owner. I would have done it at home but my garage slopes too much.

I would go, as long as I'm not working the next morning since I have to make a drive up from Tucson

I think we should have a meet on top of South Mountain. The view is amazing with parking for 30+ cars near the tv towers where no one ever goes anyway.

I drove up on saturday, check out the pics here:

Allyd, the wheels look nice but I see what you mean about poking out. How does it look in person? Sometimes pictures can exagerate things a bit(the camera adds 10 pounds and 20 mm)

A couple when entering the park, other than that none.
