I know this has been discussed before but has there been anyone thats thought about it or tried to do it. Id like to have automatic roof closure on e93 when it starts raining via automatic window wiper sensors. ...lol. but that's not gonna happen. Would be awesome though. .
There must be some clever clogg genius that could do it? Im sure it could be done via coding and a module or additional sensors?
could be a good little money earner for someone that knows what they are doing..

I picked up my '06 E90 330i M Sport yesterday, and notice that it has no welcome home feature.

It has Xenon+ headlights with angel eyes, and iDrive.

Can you code the angel Eyes to come on when when I lock/unlock the car? I suppose it's called the coming home / going away feature but mine doesn't have it - maybe because it's pre LCI.

I would be willing to travel to you (based in Milton Keynes)?

I installed the Alpine retrofit kit and I get no sound at all from the left side of the car, except for the left parcel shelf speaker. The right side of the car plays fine.

I'm at my wits end trying to get this thing working properly. Any ideas?

Do I need to get the head unit coded to hifi as well?

Have you wired it up correctly? If you have the pre-LCI kit, check the wiring (you've matched the wires - ie sub to sub, etc).

The reason the parcel shelf speaker is working is because it's not connect to the amp.... the alpine upgrade doesn't power the rears.

Or maybe your amp is fooked. Nothing to do with coding

I forgot to mention that I have a Parrot CK3100 as well. Came installed with the car.
I've just removed it, taken out the harness. ( apparently, you need the correct harness in order for this to work with an amp ). It would have been installed for a base audio system.

But still no sound from the left side. I've re-checked the wiring, and its all fine.

The only thing i can think of is that the amp is fooked. The wiring harness did look a bit different ie. no insulation fuse type ( grey cylinder type thing )on the power and earth cables

Does your car have auto headlights. If it does leave it on auto and when you unlock your car the angel eyes should come on.

1. My 2008 E91 options list includes "provisions for BMW 6 CD changer" - does this mean that the car is wired for the 6 CD changer?

2. My car does not ahve bluetooth and I want this. What is the best and most cost effective way to do this?

3. Is there anyone in N Ireland that does coding?

Regarding the 6 CD changer, should I be thinking of USB instead?

1. Yes, wiring but no charger.

2. Denison 500BT (car sees it as a cd changer and will give you BT handsfree and an apple connector for iPod/iPhone music playback and a USB for memory sticks. Will need to code car to remove Prep option and tell it that a changer (Dension) is now connected.

Do you have idrive or professional head unit?

Hi p-dawg just saw your reply I have a pre e91 with auto lights but not zenons guessing mine don't come on when unlocking and left on auto am I right in thinking only zen angel eyes come on when left on auto?

I can help with coding in Cambridge..
But my experience is limited to Car entertainment system..
CIC, 6FL, 6NR, 6NF, Amplifier, and CDs.
Only e9x cars..
