I added to MSFT, now 10% off 52H, if that is any useful measure. EPS likely in a couple weeks. If any softness, maybe the market is forgiving when it already recently off the highs.

My friend who trades successfully NFT's on Veve, a secondary market to buy/sell NFT. He buys low, then sells some when prices go nuts.

Anyhow, yesterday he shared:
I just listened to a 2hr AMA discussion with the founders of VeVe. What they said 1) Samsung is working on a TV that accepts NFTs should be out later this year 2) they are working with Apple and meet up with they at the new AR glasses to come out later this year

Sorry ^ is not the best grammar and I don't know what AMA is.

Long aapl

I often use 52H as basis for buying. More useful with blue chips. Not useful for many one off wild runs ( i.e TLRY, Monday eps) or SPAC types.

I think NFTs are kind of a gimmick, but I don't doubt that people can make money from them. Very risky/unpredictable though

I hope Jaime Dimon is correct on the economic outlook for 2022 and 2023. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks the market should continue to inch up at least until the midterm elections.

Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan.

He says 4 rate increases can be absorbed by the economy in 2022 and that the consumer is strong. I agree the economy and the consumer are very healthy now.

There wont be 4 rate hikes in 2022. Fed too afraid to hurt the market. They are waiting it out until Omicron is over and the covid and job situation fixes itself

Ditto. Wrt NFT, I'm not a player. Friend does buy low, prefers those scarcity then sells on run up. Rinse repeat. Apparently after each DIS NFT, they always take a cut on every subsequent sale.

Sorry, if I am rambling on NFT. Wrt Appl, I didn't look further. Normally no need to research (unless one wants to) Appl type shares, as they kind of look after themselves.

Jamie D, is kind of the pulse of the economy, as he has loan exposure across all industries and privy to trends ,i.e. executive committees, numerous boards ( I assume Directors', Credit ... ). I think he indicated possible five hikes. Let's see if the markets can handle Fed hawkish actions.

Yes, Agreed, Powell needs to not upset the apple cart. Recall 2018, Powell wanted to raise rates, markets tanked, then he reversed policy. The low was Dec 24. Boxing had the best deals in town, I got some good deals.

GS chief U.S. equity strategist, David Kostin, on US technology sector.

The gap between these two types of stocks remains fairly close, he contended, and will likely widen. Kostin said this could take the form of the companies with both fast growth and high profit margins increasing in valuation, or those with low or negative margins pulling back further.

Yesterday Mike Wilson MS, preferred the latter. Perhaps very selectively, like adbe. Other than that, I can't think what else, off hand.

Ahh, I see. Like the earnings call during reported eps. Q&A, the best part.

Got email from msft today. EPS is Jan 25. I think last qtr eps was very good on all segments. 2 weeks away.
