I called and made an appointment. I asked on the phone if I could get a loaner car if I am 19 and they said it would be fine. Once I got there they said I needed to be 21. Kinda insulting since I have never been pulled over or have been in an accident with my three years of driving. I get the policy but I am angry over the communication error.

No pictures, but I bought $10 spray adhesive and $10 alcantara fabric (microsuede) and wrapped my plastic steering wheel trim with it. Came out pretty nice, i'll snap some pics when I get a chance. Next up, ZHP shift knob, alcantara shift boot and brushed aluminum vinyl wrap on the interior wood grain pieces.

Anyone got a link for good prices on 3M vinyl wrap?

I have gotten loaners from my indy mechanic before, I am just not a repeat customer at the dealer. Oh well I am dropping off the car off again Thursday and hopefully they don't bitch about my CIC system when the car is a factory non iDrive. I wish I had a good dealer near me.

I applied for a wholesale parts account with BMW of Morristown so hopefully I will get a parts hookup. Even their normal prices are great. I saved $30 from ECS with my ACC retrofit parts.

As long as they can't prove that the problem is related to that u should be fine, I'm guessing u found the radar on a junk car, or even most of the parts needed?

Mostly eBay but I bought the trim new from the dealer. It took hours of searching but I found everything.

One day I will show everyone the secret to buying used parts on eBay but for now I am still abusing it.

Car over heated, the connections on my extended coolant reservoir hose was leaking so I replaced the hose and it doesnt leak anymore but the fan runs on blast when the car first starts up and the lower radiator hose stayed cold while the rest of the coolant hoses were hot. Could it be my waterpump/thermostat? It sounds weak when I do the bleed procedure...

My windshield washer fluid pump just stopped working out of the blue. $8 Amazon prime order + 30 mins of my time and it's back to business as usual. I was shocked to see how cheap the pumps are, even the OEM ones. I was anticipating a $200 part.
