I think it was needed. Road was kinda messed up already. But caught me off guard didn't know it was in progress. No Colorado blvd for me for awhile.

Are they done there yet? Or still going on? I'll be heading down to Torrance tomorrow and don't wanna be suprised with the unpaved road.

LOL. We might as well walk with the kind of traffic that'll cause. Last night, don't know what was up with the 210 E, seems like they closed almost all the freeway entrance going E and traffic was backed up. I was supposed to go to West Covina but ended up at Garden Cafe instead.

I drove down crenshaw from Artesia to Lomita, there's no major surprise along Crenshaw, the dug out portion was repaved smoothly already....

The 10 freeway from the 605 to the 710 really needs to be redone. Most of the lanes are very bumpy as hell. The 710 around the 91 is smooth as silk finally.

Oh...many on ramps and off ramps along 210 near Arcadia and Monrovia are closed, CalTrans are doing some overpass reinforcement works....

it seems they are doing a lot of work around the carpool lane...but i'm not sure the full extent of the entire project....

I'd rather they close one lane at a time from midnight to 6am everyday for the entire week just to repave it properly.....

but with the amount of heavy loads travel on 10 and 710....smooth surfaces will be damaged eventually....they will need to pave almost twice the standard thickness of current highway (that's the German Autobahn motorway thickness...are about twice as thick as Unites States Interstate system).....

I live near the 10 freeway and my house shakes from the work they are doing. It would be great if they thicken the roadways here but you know they will say the price is too expensive. If they did the work the freeways would last a lot longer and need less maintenance.
