Maybe consider these, since they are not so expensive! I know they are made in China, but what isn't?!

Also, for me. I went to day to the junkyard and got myself power folding side mirrors, and to my surprise the mirrors seem to be heated and auto dimming.
Nickco43; this is your fault with all your retrofit spree.

The junk car is a 2011 328 and it has a heated sport steering wheel
Airbag deployed. If I had the money; I would have bought it and ordered a new airbag.

OEM heated seats are plug and play with a lci climate control and fuses.

Polished my rear bumper a bit and quickly sealed the car. In love with the color all over again.

I have a heated sport wheel on my car and you can buy them for under $100 without paddles. You can do the full retrofit for around $200 if you do not have a pick and pull near you.

Pressed out the hydrobearings from the tension struts and replaced them with Powerflex bushings.

https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1531620

Also in process of completing the rear wheel carriers. Cleaned up the bearing wells and pressed the new bearings in and replaced both bushings.

Who ever the bozo was that came up with that split type bushing aught to be flogged. Trying to keep the strap just right and pull that thing into place is a serious PIA even with the exact tools for the job.

My passenger seat is immaculate and the drivers seat looks much better than it did. I am bolting them in today after my hog rings come in. I just bought an immaculate LCI climate control with heated seat buttons for $25. My ass should be warm by the end of the week.

Update: My car is not pre wired for heated seats. If anyone wants them they are $200 firm, untested.

Update 2: I may run power wires for the heated seats. I am not sure yet.

Replaced the B1 S1 O2 sensor after getting the following fault codes:

Code:
0x2CA6 Lambda probe heating in front of catalyst, function
error type: 1 (5329) Operating temperature not reached

0x2C3D Lambda probe in front of catalyst, line error
error type: 1 (4207) Interrupt Nernstleitung
Engine was running quite poorly - no misfires but performance was lacking and gas mileage was suffering.

The replacement sensor, a Bosch 17098, was only $85 shipped from Rock Auto. I've read that you can use this sensor for B2 S1 as well to save money. Just be sure to label the plugs

It only took about 30 min to replace the sensor. Easy access from the engine bay, factory applied antiseize and stainless headers makes removal a breeze. The replacement sensor also came with antiseize preapplied. An offset sensor wrench and long extensions are required:

Cleared faults, reset adaptations and engine is running great again!

I finally got around to installing a steering wheel cover / wrap on the car. There was a noticeable worn section on the top right of my wheel where a previous owner had his/her hand there constantly, and I was tired of feeling it and looking at it.

Based off other threads here in the past I went with this all-black one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...0?ie=UTF8&th=1

Directions were translated from Chinese so were difficult to understand. Great fit and finish, but you need a lot of patience to thread each loop, plus lining the cover up exactly and placing with the double-sided tape took a long time before I could even get to the stitching part. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase and quality for $60.

I paid $55 for my immaculate heated, paddle shift, sport steering wheel.
