Awesome, thanks.

Yea, I see the update log with the ROM support info but seems like the firmware is being updated reguraly. Wasnt sure if this changing anything with the map data or just with the handheld device.
The update log shows the last update was early January but the device updates very frequently. Maybe Im looking at the wrong update log

I think it's in the AP manager and I think there's a link to the map release notes on the map download page.

Nope. There's nothing there. I know most of these updates are for the AP for logging, roms, etc but where is the revision history on what it does? If you notice the last update, it updates the AP graphic icons. Where's the revision info for that?
As RG noted, the last documented revision is dated in Jan.

2nd month running Stg 1 aggressive. Switched this morning from Standard/stock throttle to Linear. Excited to feel the difference. Will give it a full month to compare avg mpg and my thoughts between the 2

So I'm at 67% unistalled till next week my question, is it ok to let the ecu and car sit till tomorrow afternoon or should I get some miles on the car tonight?

I assume you mean for dealer service? I try to drive around a bit after removing the flash to see if any adaptations take place, but TBH I've taken my car in within 20 miles of taking Cobb off, and it was fine. No warranty issues no questions.

Well its not going in till Sat (oil change coupon ) I just didn't want to let the car sit tonight if its better to give it some time to get used to the ECU change again?

Just started pulling logs from my car, flashed it about 2 weeks ago.. Had some misfires from overdue plugs.. just did them this weekend.. and there was still a slight hesitation in boost, i figured it might be more than just plugs.

Anyone want to take a look at this log for me? It seems the car is pulling timing? Suggestions?

Yeah, timing looks bad ... what map are you running and what are your mods/octane? You should probably try a more conservative map to see if that fixes your timing corrections.

Just installed stage I on my 2010 335i. Wow, what a difference! Perfect adjustment in timing. +1 cobb for another job well done.

+1 to all of this. You're turbos are hitting targets just fine, your corrections are fairly severe and that's what's causing the lack of performance.

If you're excited about that, wait until you try a Stage 2+ or an e85 based map

The higher the ethanol mix you run the more it will make the pump work, which in turn, reduces the life of the pump. How much running a 30% mix takes off the life of the pump is unknown. Also, it's a good idea to run e10 gasoline through the tank every 3-4 fill ups to "clean" the fuel system of any ethanol deposits that may have formed.
So lets say I run 5 gallons e85 with ten gallons of 91 for three weeks. You recommend running 91 only for a week after?

I would recommend running maybe half a tank of 91 once a month just as a preventative measure. In all honesty, you can probably run e30 all the time and it not hurt anything. I just like a little peace of mind, especially when it's so easy.

Since then, I've flashed the car with Stage2 aggressive and did a few more logs.. it looks like it's still pulling timing?

I'm not getting any codes or anything. The car was fine before. I had a misfire on #5, so I replaced all the plugs with bosch plugs and I swapped #5 coil with #1 coil.

I'm going to maybe try stage 0 and see if it does anything weird.
I'm running FBO.

Continue to try less aggressive mapping, and/or add a bit of E85 to see if that smooths out your timing issues. Also log more of the pull, ideally you want to be looking at 2.5k-6.5k with zero throttle closures.

sounds good thanks! If I were to upgrade the LPFP, then I wouldn't have to run 91 once in a while?

Runnning a parallel setup will do wonders to both keep the LP fuel system happy(both with longevity and letting you run as much ethanol as you want) so I would always advise running an upgraded LPFP setup if you're serious about e85.

However, what I'm talking about with running 91 is CLEANING the fuel system. E85 has a reputation for leaving deposits on injectors and gasoline has been a used as cleaner to help clear this deposit up. However, this has always been on port injection setups and I haven't seen anyone mention this buildup yet on our DI setup.

Check this discussion out. It's talking about the 2.4 SRT-4 engines, but I've seen similar discussions on STi and DSM forums.

Ordered Cobb n54 AP today. Can't wait to receive it. Making the switch from procede.

What's the difference between linear and stock throttle?

I'm FBO (dp, fmic, cai, cbe) but no meth. Safe to run stage 2 aggressive?

LT attempts to replicate a more naturally aspirated type response, just try the two and see which one you prefer. And if you're FBO stg2+ are the maps you'll want to run, or E30/race maps if that's what you're looking for.
