It probably is, just not the older version. I think you could find a used one for like $200. Or buy a new one? AFE, Simota, whatever floats your boat (though I am not sure who makes what for the N54, might be a little different).

You can feel a little boost (not sure about on the 335) but it also makes the engine sound nice when you floor it.

yep, this works with all of them. $9.99 cleaning kit at any auto part store but most of the ones that come with the intakes are non oil so you just use the cleaner, rinse and let it air dry over night.

we had a crazy rain here nows its foggy. perfect time for the rear fogs

but speaking of accidents i saw one couple of says ago. it developed right in front of my eyes. it was like a child being born. i was cruising 30 ft behind two cars. one in the left, one in the right lane(side by side). the car in the right lane makes a fucking left turn right in front of the guy in the left lane. i was like w, t, f. is this guy serious. cat in the left lane must of not been paying attention cause it was a second or so before he hit the brakes. he just hit the other guys rear left qtr panel. and i drove by and was like well someones day just got ruined by a dummy.

hahaha nice.

I remember making a left into some heavy traffic going one way down lake ave in glenview, but traffic was ok in the other direction. I just got into the left lane right after the stop light and was sitting there waiting, windows down and the stereo on (not too loud though). Out of nowhere I just hear some guy scream "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" at the top of his lungs and an extremely loud screech from sliding tires on asphalt. As soon as I can turn my head to the left to see, he PLOWS into the car in front of him (who was at a complete stop) going about 30mph, RIGHT NEXT TO ME. I even had some tail light shards fly onto my windshield (thank god nothing else). Anyway, I pulled into the driveway across the street and got out to make check on them (sorry, I've been a lifeguard for like 13 years now) but both parties were ok, a little whiplash and the guy who hit the car had a split lip and bloody nose from the airbag... which I think was well deserved since he just was flat out not paying attention to the road and probably could have killed someone.

oh I almost forgot my favorite part... dude had part of the ENGINE of his dodge neon sitting in his LAP. True story.

EXACTLY like that... it just got louder as he got closer to my me. So he's screaming fuck, his tires are PLEADING with the pavement to stop the car but just keep sliding and screeching and then WHAM... right into the back of the Subaru stopped at the red light.

I think I called almost everyone I knew afterward cuz it was pretty funny (only cuz they were both ok) but the guy getting out and the engine busted through the dash was a damn funny sight... definitely not the day for me to be driving without a camera.

yeah I just had to do the same thing.... either try to "cut" or saw a line straight across the face of it and use a really thick flathead or else you'll have to try to just cut it off with a dremmel or something.

or actually, try a sharp set of wire cutters/stripper. the sharp edges should almost cut into the soft metal and get you enough grip to twist the screw.

+1000000000000

I just skimmed $1000 off the top of my taxes to use for the car. I need $300 to do the suspension swap at the meet, but trying to figure out what to do with the rest.

Thinking of getting the SWS-8 subs and a new amp to add to the audio system

Or thinking of a every so slightly used JB3 PnP

Or thinking of a bunch of smaller things like 6K headlights, RD Angels, and some other small cosmetic things

Any other thoughts? Need to keep it somewhat low key seeing as how my significant other doesn't yet realize I skimmed $1000 off the top.
