Is there any limit to the size of the package they can take? I have 2 doors I was thinking of having shipped.

That is not big! The bigger, the more they will charge you, but the answer is no, people get their tires on wheels shipped there, full exhaust (6 feet by 1 feet x 2 feet ) you get the idea...

I had a 10ft projection screen and a pallet of seats shipped there - and I know they take fridges and stoves. And cars. So your doors are small time.

Groovy. I'm guessing two bulky ass boxes like doors would cost a fortune to Montreal. Good to know that is considered regular size.

I hear you. That is an ugly process on this engine. I installed an oil catch can to minimize the build up. I recommend you do that if not already done. That has to be a three to four job, less if they specialize in BMWs. Speed Autotech on Pierrefonds boulevard in Pierrefonds has good experience with BMWs, not sure if they have direct experience with that type of job on the N54. The major bitch on the N54 is the wire harness block under the intake manifold that is in the way. I know of a private shop in Rigaud that specializes primarily in BMWs. I can drop him a note.

How many clicks on your car? You track? Stock air box? Meth injection? Running piggyback? Any known issues? PM me.

I have a ski weekend planned for Killington this winter, so no biggy. If it is under $150 I save, then screw it, not worth the hassle of driving there, the border BS and the extra gas money having to take the truck.

I dont blame you. It is not by accident that I dumped my 335. The S54 is starting to get me down a little as well. An engineering nightmare for the track. I'm sure it wont be long before all my M3 is a shell with suspension that will simply holds a crate motor and tranny.

I'm sure it is just the fouled sensor or an ECU glitch.

weird that youre throwing codes all over the place considering the relatively low mileage on your car. good thing the car is still covered under warranty...

its probably just a bad sensor. i am sure its nothing major. you could probably DIY it yourself if you wanted to.

I think the difference with George's CEL is that it seems to be accompanied with reduced power.

Bmws arent reliable.
After owning 5 of them in my family, we have learned that the hard way.
I will never own a bmw out of warranty again. Its going to cost you a fortune.
Good luck with your car.

I'm not sure about the reliable part, but definitely expensive (parts) to repair if off warranty and more so if you have to bring to a dealer to fix. Sold mine (335, N54 used primarily for track) as soon as the warranty was up.

The E9X M3 platform should be a good rock solid platform for years to come. It wont be long before I start seeing more of these cars cannibalized for the track.
