Hey guys, has anybody had suspension installed in the Research Triangle area? I picked up a set of Tischer's performance shocks a while back and have just been holding on to them. I'm hoping to get them installed on the low end of the $300 - $700 spectrum.

Also, does anyone happen to know of a good detailing shop in the area? I've got some buffing holograms I want polished out. I took a look at Above and Beyond Detailing, but when I drove by, it looked like an assembly line. People were just lined up and waiting for car washes - not sure if I want my car rush detailed... but who knows, if I'm paying 10x as much as a carwash for a full interior/exterior detail, maybe I'll get 10x the care...

I just got a bimmer and I need bimmer buddies! The car arrives in October! I live in the triad so keep me in mind when there are outings. I need people to talk about cars with and teach me stuff...

I am looking for the best place in the triad to get my windows tinted that has the pinnacle F1. I want a place that covers the entire window if possible.

I can't help you since I had mine done in Charlotte, but there I asked the local BMW dealership where they sent their new cars our, and I went to that place (Auto Xtras on Independence).

Finding a shop with specific experience on the 3-series is very important, as the their rear window is known for being difficult to tint due to its shape. Plus the 'dot matrix' shading treatment.

I had read of some who went to tinters that actually removed the dot matrix, and others that tinted around, but mine did it over. I read this was the method requiring the most experience to do right, but mine came out really well.
