every hybrid, no matter what level of the market your in, weather it be the Lexus GS hybrid or the Toyota prius. . . is more expensive then it's normal gas burning counterpart.

Therefore, your return on investment is slow, though with these crazy oil prices today, maybe that'll change. But as far as I'm concerned about hybrids, they are great at merely helping the environment, and thats it. If they were cheaper then gas burning cars, then that would make sense. We need to be focusing on hydrogen, solar, geothermal, wind, and water engery. . . . too bad we blew trillions on a fucking war instead of serious alternative fuel research.
