Tried installing my ******** trunk tonight and

I made everything fit, Some forcefully, some with silicone to prevent future leaking! Came to the last step and It is 1/2" too short! ARARARHDHAHDGHDA!!!!!

Tried calling him but he had gone home. I will try again tomorrow time to get my money back! I looked like it would work so i put everything on. I just had to get it out!

Gus, right?

Man, sorry to hear you about the fitment issues. Honestly, all these CF pieces from vendors like that are somewhat janky and never seem to fit right. I'm not familiar with the ****** trunk?...can you clarify on what is and please pictures if possible. Wanna see how bad the fitment is so we can all stay away.

My advice, return that shit and think about the karbonwerke trunk. You already met Drew...so just hit him up.

it's simple if you know what your doing Brian. Of course, I wouldn't attempt messing with wires since I don't know what the eff I'm doing but you seem knowledgeable enough to dooo it. If not, just have phuong look at it...he's installed about 6-7...were timing him how fast he can do it now. Last one was about ten minutes lol

& good shit Disneyland...especially during the holidays.

Yeah, I'm Gus, What was your name? I remember faces and name. I bought it march of this year. I finally got it installed today at home its a known issue. I believe the seller got banned. I have a video of what's wrong. I got all the accessories (i.e: trunk handle, trunk key unlock, lic. plate lights all that stuff even the lic. plate.) When it came time to close the trunk no go! It falls a 1/2" too short of closing. I tried reposition it on the hydraulic brackets. Nothing. I got in the trunk, to see what was happening, I even took video of me in the trunk. You can clearly see where the issue is. I made it all work! Good thing I didn't spend any money on paint or vinyl Like was planning on doing! It looked good until....bleh. I will return back to stock 2m.

I wish I was done with school , I should have just sucked it up and finished the rest while I was in the Marine Corps. Now that I'm out, I'm stuck in school for like another 1.5 years. Totally blows going from a career back to school, but I'm sure it'll all be worth it in the end, haha. Congrats to those of you who are done/almost done!

Haha, that's cool, though. It should pay off in the end. What are you studying?
