ISTA+ works flawlessly, but ISTA-P says it can't read VIN. It also doesn't work if I input VIN manually. Thoughts?

If EDIABAS.ini and OBD.ini set for K+DCAN and correct COM Port, it should work.

Greetings everyone, this is my first post here and I’m looking for anybody to help guide me through an ISTA + download. I have all the software but kept getting PAD Active Errors. Tried uninstalling and wanted some help walking through the installer. I can throw $$$ to anyone who can help me with getting my ISTA working.

For PAD Active Error, in the registry, go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\BMWGroup\I SPI\Rheingold] and set "BMW.Rheingold.OnlineMode"="True"

Hi, I am new here (pls be nice!), and looking to get in to coding. Currently have 2 E9x cars - 2011 E92 and 2007 E93. Looking to update the 07 as much as possible - for example how much can the idrive be updated? As it is, it is pretty primitive - and how can I tell what revision it is currently on?

Would it be possible to get access to the software repository?

I'm afraid I may have messed up something somewhere. My battery died. I removed it, charged it, and after install wound up w/the wipers on, the traction control error lamp, and amber brake light on the dash.
I no longer have the laptop w/the INSTA etc. software install (and it's been so long since I used it that I've forgotten everything I learned). Can I please get a link to where I can find the install files?

Unfortunately my old lurker account on here isn't active anymore, but I'm in desparate need of the software and datens for an 08 E90 to hunt down electrical issues. Does anyone have a direction they can point me in to find the files? I've searched torrents up and down but not found any with active seeds
