Just cough on him and get him sick.....you won't see him all week. He will be home sick.

Just trying to help.

By the way. Is smoking a chain hard?

Good morning people.

I have a question on tinting (yes, I could go to another post, but I trust you guys, and you're local, which helps).

I'm planning on getting ceramic tinting on the car before I pick it up. I've heard that the state limit is 50% (front) and 20% (rear). I'm not a big fan of too much difference between front and rear windows, so I'm thinking of 50% on the four side windows, and 30% on the rear window. I figure since it's ceramic, I don't have to go too dark and I'll still get UV protection, without sacrificing nighttime vision, and not looking to "gangsta".

What do you think?

I went 50% front and 30% all the rest. I like how it looks. If IM not mistaken in Utah you have to have 50% front but every else it can be what ever you want. The was the law when I got mine done in January 07.

What ever you do don't have the dealer do it. I know they don't do it, they send it out to get done. You will pay more if the dealer does it. Just pick up your car and pay to have it done on your own.

Go check these guys out Tint and Clear Bra Specialist 7045 So 300 west Midvale. Took extremely good care of me. Does a much better job then the place BMW of Murray sends their cars to in my opinion. Mark is the owner at the shop and tell him Pat sent you down there. Doesn't cost anything to check it out.

...already called them. I spoke to Mike, who was very helpful. Following your advice, and canceling the tint order at the dealership. I think I'm going to go with the 50 front and 50 back (I prefer the consistent look front to back).

Thanks again for the feedback!

I spoke to Mark recently at Tint and Clear Bra Specialists and he said you can go up to I believe 50% or 70% on the windshield. I know the law recently changed.

I did Solar Guard 50% front and 30% rear. Only down fall to the E92 is trying to get bubbles out of the rear window from the dot matrix.
