Anyone here rocking a photochromic shield? Best investment ever for my bell star rolling sands edition.

... and the K1200R is the reason I never got an R1100S That was my previous bike before the Diavel, AWESOME machine! I had a ton of CF and full LASER can on mine, sounded and looked amazing... Herr Terminator in its Natural Habitat by ddk632, on Flickr Sexy Carbon Fiber Behind by ddk632, on Flickr I read the specs and they seem very similar. The slightly more expensive one has some more specific language regarding safety, CE, etc. I would say with these two they seem to similar from reading the info on the site you linked, you'd be safe just choosing the one you think looks better... Since this is a bikes/photos thread, here's a shot I'm particularly proud of from tonight. I recently took off the frame stickers (hehe) so that is my little mod in this photo... caught the SLS right in my shot! Beauty and The Beast by ddk632, on Flickr |

I bought my first bike, a 2010 Ninja 250, a little over a year ago. Sold it last week and picked up a 2013 Ducati Monster 696. Found a great deal on it through craigslist and loving every minute of it so far!

Holy cow, there are some sick bikes on here. The Ducati's are my favorite, by far. Problem is I have no idea how to operate a motorcycle. I've driven stick shift cars but I'm scared of motorcycles, lol. Do you shift with your foot or your hand? Is it like a mountain bike?

Shifting the sequential gears is done with your left foot: clicking up shifts one gear up, clicking down shifts one gear down. Neutral is in between 1st and 2nd gear. |
