Per PM exchange with Stan, I'm restarting the list for first 10 (who get discount). I removed PR and TDI for known reasons. I grabbed this list from page 21 so if you spoke up since then, please cut and paste this into a new response and then add your name.

So how will the flashing be accomplished, i.e. we download tune via the OBD port, send him our DME, go to a Ecotune dealer here in the USA...

Whit45 flashing will be bench type and sent to RS I believe so, correct me on this Stan or TDi, Also, TDi gives us feed back on the MPG improvement I strongly believe the pipe is the major culprit in improvement, that was noted to me by my firends in Poland
BTW what are the prices? Cant seem to find the price of it in their website

Keep me on the list if Stan can do a pipe for the X5d!
Good news, just received an email from Ecotune and they said that the pipe is compatible with the X5, so please do keep me on the list! Thanks! |

Question: Does this kit also delete urea injection?????
My car just got a CEL and incorrect DEF warning... i'm dropping it off at the dealer tomorrow. It would be nice if I didnt have to deal with this garbage again. The amount of time I've wasted dropping the car off and driving around town would pay for the kit in its entirety for me. |

This is with the OEM mufflers deleted and straight pipe in place, but the stock mid pipe with SCR catalyst is still in place. The video pics up more high freq turbo whistle than I hear in with my ears. The first couple engine rev's are with the transmission not engaged, but the last engine rev is with "drive" engaged but using the brakes (you can see the suspension squat a bit). This is a "warm start". Engine had been off for ~1 hr. In this condition there's hardly any noticeable soot in the exhaust. If you do a sharp jab of the fuel pedal there's a small puff of smoke, but I didn't film that. Cold starts have more noticeable visible exhaust than with the DPF. Here's a similar clip with Stan's remap before his downpipe. So it still has the DPF delete, but DOC still in place inside the OEM canister. Also has the mufflers deleted and OEM mid pipe with SCR catalyst. |

Not sure if it has really been discussed throughly but what are people doing about the urea lines that go to the fitting for cleaning them out before the urea crystalizes/ages?

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=936032 During the recent downpipe installation didn't see any evidence of crystallized urea on the injection line. The passive and active tank fill ports also worked as expected during the flush/rinse phase. But urea crystallizing is something that seems to be an increasingly probable outcome as the platform ages... |
