Apparently this is where we update what is going on in our lives... so I will update the bimmerforum world accordingly:
1.) Our application/servers all blew up today, which means extra work for everyone and now only three days to get a typical one-week regression testing cycle in- which means making our employees work weekends and 13 hour shifts.
2.) I'm only eating protein and lettuce for a week - DETOX
3.) I have to take melatonin in order to sleep
4.) I need to claybar the ONE and drive the M
5.) Pick up Jakes birthday present
6.) Grab some sun - HEY SARA, whats the name of that place you got the $h*t burnt out of you?

I guess who that someone was depends on two things:

1. Whether or not you were using filesystems or raw logical volumes for database storage.
2. Whether or not your DBAs preallocate storage.

Basically, if using LVs or preallocating disk space it's probably the DBA's fault. If not, it's probably the sysadmin's fault - depending on who is responsible for maintaining the database storage.
