OK...I asked my friend...he said the oil temp gauge is only on 335i for Model year 2007....
2007 328i will still have fuel consumption gauge....

not sure about MY2008 yet...coz i did saw my coworker's 328 E92 have oil temp gauge....

Those are mostly 335i.....325, 328 and 330...we dun really need to "warm up" our cars then drive...

Hahaha...i used to start my car, tie my shoes, put on V1, then drive!

Neh...u cannot check oil temp....but its hard to get our engines overheat without turbo...

First thing I do when I leave my garage is floor it all the way until I get to the 55 freeway. Going over 100 should help warm things up

I usually go by my rpm. It starts at about 2, and when it drop to near 1, that's when i know i've warmed it.

yea i'd like to know if my car is heating toward overheating. Especially in Socal summer and you have the AC on.

i used to do that on my turbo volvo.....coz the gear box and tranny are smoother when the rpm drops below 1K and stabelized....
now...i only warm up for like 5 secs....

That's a good way to tell....but like simon said, it should be near impossible to get our cars to overheat. In my E46, I drove 120 all the way to vegas in like 110 degree weather with the AC on full....no problems there.
