So what are the local thoughts on the JB or Procede tunes. I did some research in this thread and have gathered the Procede is getting most of the kudos. Is anyone running the v3 with a DCI?

Also, a BoM tech told a friend that they can detect a tune regardless of the brand and type. Any truth to this?

Ok just to let you know Im the only person in this thread that uses JB3, everyone else has Vishnu.
So im gonna back out of this fight and let you talk to Parker, Pat, Nate, Adam.
Just so you know, I have had no problems what so ever with my JB3.

The fact is there is only one person I trust to take car of my car and that is Parker.
So talk with him.

I'll tread lightly because I don't want to start a war here, so I guess I'm really more curious about the ability to detect them from your personal experiences. I'm sure they are both good, but maybe they act a bit differently at altitude.

I've read a lot of threads here and I'm thinking it may be subjective as to whether it is detectable or not. But given that we all, most likely, go to the same dealership for service it would be localized knowledge.

I have had my PROcede for almost two years. I love mine. It has been upgraded through the years to even be better. The RevII is by far and away the best tune on the market right now. The only way it gets detected is if you load up the wrong map and it trips a code. Or you damage some thing while you are installing it. It will make your car a whole new beast.

Parker is very good at the install. Hell he does it while drinking a beer and sleeping

He is the only one who works on my car also

As far as the JB3 VS PROcede thing, read this review http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=229772 Very unbias review. If I was buying my first tune I would still by the PROcede even though it is more expensive, it has more features and drives better. Not every one drives at WOT all the time. Both tunes are great at WOT but the Procede is better at every day driving.

Sweet! Sign me up for a spot... but honestly I'm not sure why I'm worried about a tune right now as I watch the snow continue to pile up. BTW, why do we live in Utah?

Oh yeah, the awesome scenic drives when the snow melts... ahhh heaven!

Will do, but it's at your own risk being seen with a 'thirty something' in public. Albeit an 'early' thirty something, but that seems to put most youngsters off.
