Shiv, have you done any installs in NoCal yet? There must be some local guys up there who have taken advantage of the free install and tune. Any updates, Dynos yet?

0-60 rarely tells the whole story (or any of it) for modern cars these days. I know some people find that to be the most 'real' test of a car (as most driving is done around this speed) but I feel that a better test of a car's improvement in acceleration is 0-100 or 0-130 or even 150. 0-60 these days can be done with only 1 shift in some high power cars (or zero for some supercars) where it requires 2 shifts for other high horsepower cars. Shifting twice kills 0-60 and can give a false impression of the cars true behavior. Lots of cars can get to 60 today at a pretty good pace. 0-100 and beyond is a different story.

Shiv,
My car is finally on order. Isn't it time for Take 4? Get me through the wait. Actually from LA, but staying in Danville area later this week for work. May need to stop by the shop. |

If it's doing 0-60 in 4.2 then it will probably do the quarter in high 12's. I bet with sticky tires or lsd it would be identical to the m5 0-60 4.1 1/4 in 12.4, shiv was spinning wheels in the begginning of the video

Absolutely fantastic! I'm glad you're dedicating all of this effort to figuring out the new ECU, and it's also very cool of you to publish as you go along, I think that disclosure of your progress along the way is super important.
I can't wait to see one of these making 700+ on a stock motor!
