I have been interested in getting the ER competition oil cooler.
ER competition is currently costing $1970au + shrouds $150us plus delivery = to expensive. I'm making my own Setrab twin kit I have checked the prices on setrab cores, hose and fittings and it can be done for at least $500 less. |

Just got home after working Remote for a couple of months and have had RB EVOs Arrive a few days after I left.
I will start to install them tomorrow night. Expect some logs by mid week. Going to order some race fuel off power plus but I'm not sure what octane to get yet as I'm getting mixed opinions. |

Installed the rear turbo today.
Took about 3 hours just to get it in and put the studs and manifold bolts on. I'll be doing a bit of work on it during the week to try and get it going asap. |

I have spent about 4-5 hours over 3 nights after work trying to get the rear turbo upper coolant line on.
Still can't get it on. I can't physically bend the hose enough to get it into the block. I am going to pull the rear inlet back off and all the manifold nuts to give the manifold some wiggle room to reach the coolant line. The oem hose is very easy to fit as it is bent to fit where as this new line is a straight bit of hose. I don't think I will have it gong by the wknd and don't have time to work on the install this wknd. There's only one track day in a few weeks which is a learn to drift day then there's nothing till about March next year. |

Got the line in tonight.
It was just to long while the manifold was on. It couldn't bend enough to fit in. I'm taking the day off work tomorrow to do some work on it. I've got a couple of spanners and some pliers |

The famous 3 nights after work trying to put this oil line in.
Had to try and bend the end up a bit higher but couldn't without removing the manifold nuts and inlet pipe that i already had on.... I got it eventually. Last edited by Brule; 11-13-2016 at 06:09 AM.. |
