I like the PSS9s on the E46 better than the KWV2s on the E92. Surprised, huh?

Long's the other way around. He prefers the KWV2s.

For some reason, the KWV2s on my E92 just seem VERY stiff... You know how the KWV2s have 18 rebound settings? I have them set at the 9th click, right smack in the middle. Earlier, I had them at the 6th position clicking to the left (soft). Even at 6, it was pretty rough.

But my friend's KWV2s in his E90 felt like a Camry... so smooth.

The PSS9s on the E46 is set super stiff, but the rebounding doesn't feel too bad on the back.

Overall, it's easier to maintain the KWV2s. It's very easy to adjust.

thanks for the write up.

yeah i was on the fence between these two for my e92, and eventually went w/ the kw v2's. I do like my car's ride stiff, so I can't say i'm disappointed, but long/jenn's e92 w/ the pss9's did feel a little softer and more "compliant"

but then again I dunno what settings were on the pss9's with respect to my kw's....

haha im not sure. I was talking to Steve about this and i dunno, im just not very excited to go. Now if there was a Suprafest or Skylinefest or even a Lotus-fest i'd be there in a heartbeat!

But i figured since i've never been, i should atleast go once and see how i like it.

Long likes the suspension stiff. But I'm an older guy with an older back who drives a whole lotta miles.

The bad back is caused by all the carrying of the kids.

We're expecting our 4th in July, so you can tell my back's pretty whacked.
