Served with salad; fruit for dessert.

It’s a great topping. Not greasy, if the meat is precooked before adding to the pizza. Take care to avoid over-precooking which will result in dry/hard ground beef after the cooking heat for the pizza. I cooked the meat (add salt to taste) until just before it was fully cooked, and let it drain on paper towels, then used it on the pizza. Similar to how I would use fresh (uncooked) Italian sausage on pizza.

Looking at Halifax now through the window from 37k feet.

Chicken with ratatouille, sweet corn mousseline and rosemary jus. Served with creamed corn soup, salad and bread.

Vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce, cookie and raspberry.

Decaf!

Didn’t eat all of the food. Veggies and mousseline were good, everything else was OK. Ice cream was good!

Harvester restaurant visit yesterday for the four of us. I had my usual chicken on skewers and f/fries with unlimited salad washed down with two glasses of IPA then a knickerbocker glory ice cream sundae. Champion!

We were saying the other day, we haven’t been to a Harvester for years. I really enjoyed their salad bar!

They are a bit few and far between as is the one in Addington from us but worth the trip for the good service and great no nonsense food... and the wife drove back

Earlier it was lean sirloin steak from Costco (the best) cooked well done for me with baked small taters and Polish sauerkraut, I prefer a mild mustard to go with the steak.
